Sneaki my friend, I agree with basically everything you said. However, FINALLY playing Elden Ring, while it doesn't have the puzzle-based Dungeons and bosses, it's quite comparable and I'd say BETTER than both Breath of the Wild AND Tears of the Kingdom. The open-world feel is comparable, however, I'd say Elden Ring has more satisfying combat. The sound design for Staggering an Enemy is very good, all the weapons are at least somewhat fun to use (I'm not a fan of shorter-range weapons like daggers and shortswords myself but that's just me), the open-world design was inspired by Breath of the Wild if I read right and it shows it and feels like it. Storywise they arent alike so lets not compare them there, haha. I'd gladly play Botw and Totk but I find Elden Ring to be the Step above so far. I'm only level 60 and I haven't done much in terms of beating the game but still! It's something right? Great video! (Sorry for the long reply 😅)

I think the dlc is a 6.8/10 personally. The base game is great prob a 8.7/10 for me. The dlc is just too much empty space and slow paced, and even less direction. Difficulty really isn’t the prob with it imo, just the annoyingness and repetitiveness of it. I would buy the dlc again, but only if it went on sale for like $20

It's really fun. There's a lot of build variety and you can kinda make a character that works around your weaknesses as a player. Like if you're bad at dodging, you can use a greatshield, just as an example.
