I'm not sure if you already knew, Sneaky, but we console players are also sometimes forces to use third-party accounts to play newer games or ports. I mean, anyone remember the whole controversy of when Bethesda forced people to use a Bethesda account just to play the remaster of the first DOOM game or how Ubisoft forced players to use an Ubisoft account just to play Assassin's Creed Valhalla, a single-player game, no less?

I have it on PS3 with the Undead Nightmare and would stay on the PS3 version so I dont have to connect to Rockstar to play it. Most PC ports that require you to connect to a server to play, push me to play it on original platform instrad of giving the game dev money for the PC port. I would rather buy the game from a reseller than to play the PC port. I know some games are expensive for older games but I would rather buy the physical game than to be forced to log in to Rockstar just to play it on PC. Sony is pushing for more log ins just to play some of their single-player games.
