Elden Ring's Platinum Pushed My Limits! In this video, I went for Elden Ring's Platinum Trophy! This is only my 2nd FromSoftware game so it definitely had me raging a bit. The only other FromSoftware game I got the platinum trophy for is Bloodborne, so I'm still new to the soulsborne platinum trophy process. Either way, I hope you enjoyed this video!

I think the Tree Sentinel is my favorite open world boss in the game. Since you see him in the beginning after the tutorial bit, he makes the perfect teacher in the game that tells you that you don't need to fight every enemy you first encounter. It' encourages you to learn you have decisions in this game. If you can't win, just leave and come back stronger. It also teaches not everything you see has to be fought.

I actually found Eldens Ring’s 100% very enjoyable. I usually don’t achievement hunt but Elden ring kind of came naturally. I’m currently pushing for mgsv and having a very hard time

Bro mgs5 is a respectable plat . Took me 2 months solid 3 to 5 hours a day to achieve the plat and made me go off trophy hunting for a while. Felt like such a chore lol .

Yeah, my only 100% are Bloodborne and Elden Ring, cause both games you almost complete every trophy if you explore the game. It was not like "pick the thousand hidden artifacts in the game"

When Elden Ring came out I got covid literally like a week after, so I decided to buy it and I spent 10 days indoors doing pretty much nothing but play Elden Ring until I got the platinum. It was a great way to spend isolation, especially as thankfully I wasn't suffering too bad with covid other than just feeling run down!

I'm so glad you're blowing up man, your dedication is truly unbelievable. This line is cheesy as hell, but you really are like an anime protagonist. Insane willpower and determination over god-given skill or talent. I'm pretty dang good at Elden Ring, and have played every Souls-like game I can get my hands on, yet you have the Elden Ring Platinum and I don't. Same with Hollow Knight. As a side note, have you ever considered doing Nioh 2? It's funny because the platinum isn't hard relative to the game, but Nioh 2 itself is punishing and insanely challenging. It's also an amazing game, and my personal favorite game of all time. So if you're interested, I would highly recommend.

1. I’ve done yt for a living since 2019 so I can stay home and play/work on videos everyday 2. I like difficulty trophies as long as they’re fairly challenging and not cheaply unfair 3. If I’m enjoying the game I’ll continue to play it to the end even if it wasn’t necessary 4. For some games I wouldn’t bother playing them, usually indie titles that I’m not that interested in but most games I’ve been playing recently I would play with/without trophies 5. I don’t care for dlc cause I just like to get platinums. I’ll get dlc for games I really like or if I think the dlc trophies would be fun but other than that I don’t go for them 6. I’m 22

@@justchris123 hahahahaha omg. before you go into the door to the last boss you make a safe state on the cloud an turn off auto save in cloud. then you kill the boss 3 times and every time you killed him you take a different ending and restore your backup from the cloud to the ps to kill him AGAIN with a different ending. do this 3 times with each ending and you got platinum in ONE SINGLE playthrough. so dont speak about stuff you dont have an idea about.

I don't want to sound like I'm that one condescending person but, I happened to find Elden Ring's Platinum trophy rather easy to acquire, in fact its THE ONLY game I've ever managed to Platinum. Every other PS game has one trophy or several that I simply do not have the patience or skill to attempt. Some are just outright cruel. Elden Ring's trophies are literally beat all the bosses and find all legendary items, weapons, talismans and spells/incantations. That's it. If you ask me that's rather easy and I'm surprised there were no trophies like, beat *named boss* under a certain time. Or beat *named boss* without taking damage. NOW THAT would have been difficult. I was really shocked/surprised at how easy it was to Platinum Elden Ring. I've been a PS player since the PS One back in the 90's. When trophies were first introduced in the PS3 era I thought they were neat and some games I really wanted to platinum but there was ALWAYS just ONE trophy I simple did not want to or COULD not get.

Yea, the main challenge comes from beating the bosses themselves tbh

FromSoftware doesn't create a list of challenges to get platinums like most games do. They just want a general completion of their games. They realize that the game itself is a challenge and don't want to add a bunch of BS caveats to get a platinum trophy. The game itself is difficult, but sure the platnium isn't as difficult as certain games just because those games create a fake difficulty level by making some trophies insane to get. This doesn't make the base game harder though. Most of the time these games are pretty easy to beat, but the dev's want to create a challenge without actually making the game hard. There's nothing wrong with that, but it's the truth. Making an interesting boss that's challenging and requires you to pay attention and master mechanics is an art that's hard to master. Making a boss then giving a trophy to beat it in 20 seconds isn't. So in short I think the platinum is still a dope feat. No need to compare it to games like Super Meat Boy even though he's done that too.

There are 3. 1 for getting to the top, another for getting to the top twice and a third for getting to the top 50 times. Edit: Also this was my first souls game. Getting the 1,000G in Elden ring was easy as there wasn’t really anything to farm. Going for the platinum or full completion in DS3 is waaaay harder due to the farming aspects of it. Edit: soloing bosses in souls games are some of most rewarding moments. I still remember beating the fire Giant and Melania after several attempts lol.

I didn't think it was that hard it was just time consuming and you have to farm runes quite a bit. I took me 116 hours to platinum this game. Also i would say that if you upgrade your mimic to max and get a good weapon maxed out you can pretty easily kill every boss if you have the right talismans. I used blashemous blade and used best medallions for that and it was pretty much a breeze to go trough the game with that dont be affraid to try to platinum this game and its a fun game overall

I aint doin elden beast in a long time. He way to annoying. I couldnt make 3 save file copies so i sadly need to do it in ng+. Im still trying without summons and other people
