Honestly platinum for Elden Ring is much easier than some of the other titles. My main example is going to DS3, and the trophy for all rings, which included the +1 and +2 versions, and some of them were locked behind covenants like the Darkmoon ring and Wolf ring. That was a mad pain after the game slowed in popularity and regular online players.

@Ryspawn. Nowadays it's a time consumption matter, as you will be farming for the materials instead of actually participating in online play. The drop rates (without spoiling what your farming or what your farming for) are repulsively low.

I agree. Of all From Software titles, Elden Ring is the easiest one in terms of platinum trophy and gameplay as well. I found it way easier than Dark Souls 3. Elden Ring was more enjoyable though but I wished for it to be a little more challenging.

Got the platinum before all the nerfs. I had the absolute best Malenia RNG ever, she didn't pull her dance attack once so the fight was pretty easy. Got it on my first try

This platinum was my first ever platinum, and the trophys were simple and easy but hard too, mainly just boss trophys compared to other games where you have to do alot of extra stuff. i played like a total of 300 hours on ps4 and ps5, for many it might not seem like alot of time but for me its alot. Any game i put more than 50 hours in means i loved it.

Once you learn that instead of dodging sideways or back you should roll forward and use the Iframes for most attacks it makes the game much easier

I think it's more of an "into attacks" rather than just "forward" for example a spell you want to roll straight into, same as an attack from Margit coming from the right will have you also dodging right. The goal is to not end your roll whilst still being inside a hurtbox.

The game has propably been patched a thousand times since then. But when I played this game, dragon spells and arcane builds were OP. I breezed trough the game with 2 katanas, dragon spells, bloodhound step and mimic tear. Props for playing the whole game without mimic tear😅

Excellent work! I skipped around through the vid and transcript, and saw where you mentioned you weren't going to summon any more players. I didn't catch if you had specifically decided not to use Spirit Ashes? If you're purely trying to get the platinum, without necessarily going 1v1 against every boss, the Ashes can be really helpful. Black Knife Tiche in particular is known for being helpful against Malenia, which I found to be the case on my own (recently completed) platinum journey.
