Great job on that last fight man, you always come back so much cleaner after a little break. That said, this DLC really rewards exploration with tons of runes, smithing stones, and scadutree blessings, so if you're ever feeling stuck, there's no shame in exploring around, seeing the awesome new areas, and getting stronger for a bit. I know it really helped cleanse my brain when I started getting frustrated on this boss.

Some people like to overcome the challenge without summons and spirit ashes. Besides the health increase the bosses get from having help is substantial.my brother used summon and mimic tear and they got clapped within about a minute. There's an indescribable feeling after overcoming these bosses alone, just you and your mettle. He's doing it without a shield which is even more commendable.

FYI it's been confirmed the game AI reads inputs. And the enemy lunge animations are designed to be faster than you drink a pot. There's no healing unless you're totally out of range most of the time and the enemies are relentless. I'm loving this DLC though. I had to respec my bleed/dex build to heavy strength/endurance so I could wear the heaviest armor possible plus shield. That was kind of a game-changer for me.

Two hand the Beast Claws. That way you’ll be using 1 on each hand. It’s the same for normal claws - they go on 1 hand when equipped however when you two hand them they go on both hands.

If you're struggling mate getting scadutree fragments are the levelling system of the dlc so go seek out more. Its still hard but not as punishing when you make a mistake.

Too many people like fr getting mad and leaving bad reviews cuz the DLC is hard Ik some people have performance issues thats fair but complaining about the difficulty is WILD The DLC is locked behind optional endgame bosses, some of the hardest in the base game FOR A REASON They added the fargments to buff yourself FOR A REASON These bosses are no different to Margit/Morgot Just some bigger health pools and higher damage BECAUSE THEY ARE ENDGAME+ BOSSES lol I hope youre havin fun with it, dont let it get to you bruh and dont limit yourself to "honorable" or "non cheesy" stuff, they balanced the DLC around people who said the base game was way too easy and the devs are of course assuming any sain person is gonna use every advantage and tool they put in the game, if youre dying 50-100+ times on a boss swallow your pride and use some summons, some fragments, some buffs, some magic etc

Except not everyone was a "fan" of the direction they took with Elden Ring and it's open world which proved to be worse than we thought, including me. It's my least favorite fromsoft game but for more reasons than just the world. They ruined the combat and moveset of bosses and some enemies which moved and attacked way too fast for the game's combat for it to be any fun, we much prefer the slow methodical approach of the previous games' enemies and bosses because they actually worked well with the player character's speed in combat, not being an open world made it much less a victim for filler content as well, not to mention the world in elden ring is so empty, there are not content so many places in the world, especially liurnia, mountaintops/snowfield, and the dlc region. The only good thing I can say for this game and it's dlc is having beautiful environments and graphics but that's it, the enemy and boss design isn't fun in this one, they didn't learn from their mistakes in the base game, I hope fromsoft does better in the future for their next IPs because I just wanna forget that this game ever happened because it used to be unheard of in fromsoft history

I dont fully agree.. i played a good bit of the DLC now and the MAIN bosses have way less "bullshit" attacks like allot of the main game bosses have. No main boss in the dlc so far had a big one shot attack or AOE after a combo that cant be dodged into. A good example of it done well in elden ring dlc is mesmer the snake guy seen in the trailer (i wont spoil it) but he has good attacks difficult as well but not bullshitty like main game bosses had its my new favorite in the whole game
