The thing about the dry leaf arts is that they’re mostly meant for poise breaks. I think they also scale more off strength than dex, so your build definitely wasn’t great for it. They’re meant for fast attacks to overwhelm an opponent and break their poise

@@Wyatt_carter No shame...I had to kinda cheese him with fingerprint shield and rivers of blood...I stacked every damage negation source that I had, with 60 vigor and morgotts great rune and I just barely survived...I probably could have done it a lot faster with an ash summon, but I wanted to do it without it for the first time...If I do that fight again I will bring all the summons! lol

Elden Ring is the best game ever made, hands down. Honestly the new Lords Of The Fallen doesn't get enough love either, I really like that game now, they really fixed a lot of the issues it had on release and I've beaten it a couple times now and it's really enjoyable and I'm glad they're making a 3rd game now.

I struggled so much with Rellana too... the build I finally beat her with was using Milady with winged stance/frost and a shield to get some counter attacks in. Those back hand swords look fun thoughhhh

I think alot of people killed her with Milady...I used a bleed Milady and it just melted her! Next time you fight her try losing the shield and two handing Milady with the perfect guard tear in your flask...It is really fun!

Claymore and the shield you get from Castle Ensis ( Decent magic defense). The guard counters were helpful but the stance breaks were what really came in clutch. You can get a fully charged heavy, pause then crit her for some good damage. That's the closest I've ever come to summoning help or using a spirit lmao. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! Just got to Messmer and I've heard stories lol...

Lol did you know that you can actually come to that area before you ever touch that boss? By finding the other path you actually get your fragments up to a minimum of +8 lol. I destroyed her. The fists need a damage buff I feel. They just don't do any damage.

dryleaf does very good damage, I used them to kill the hippo in the keep in no time with dex/faith and the fist infused with flame art + a couple buffs that pair well with it, the ash of war that comes with them is crazy good cause it has hyper armor when charging so if you can tank a couple of hits you can chunk a boss pretty well but it works better for some enemies than others.

Dude you could've summoned one of them in the fight but you didn't. On a side note, summoning the NPCs in this dlc is actually relevant to the story, so idk why people don't do it. If it's for "extra challenge" then they're missing out cos, I had an easier time with Rellana without the NPC summon. Edit: grammar error

If you imbibe St. Trina’s nectar 4 times, she talks to you. She kills you every time, but imbibing 6 times exhausts her dialogue. She has lore for you, as well as an attached quest line.

Every enemy in the game has different strengths and weaknesses. Bears are probably more resistant to blunt force attacks than slashing or bleed. The best thing to use against any enemy in a watery area is Lightning though. Fire is good against all furry beasts. Holy is good against undead, etc. I feel like people don't actually look at all the stuff in the game. Edit: spelling error

I feel you with rellana, raged so hard, but i just put all my focus into damage negation, one spell proof liver, and the twin moon attack becomes survivable (and i mean 1hp survivable) also letta is always was available to summon for rellana, i think you just missed it, her sign was like 2 cm to the left of the door the whole time, i just thought you were playing no summon run

Why not using summons? If a boss is extremely hard just use your mimic and summon an npc. Honestly, fights are a lot more entertaining to see when there are 3 dudes trying to beat the shit out of a boss

I might be over level because i haven't found a boss yet that takes me more than 3 times, granted im taking my time with the dlc i beat rellana and headed straight to east side of the map where all the Dragons are at and had more trouble with Bayle than Rellana 😂. Rellana was easy for me Bayle is the only one that took hours to beat
