Looking back, GOWR was no where near winning GOTY over ER. ER is a once a generation game.

GOW is a totally different game than elder ring ,therefore Gow is the best game I ever played ,being a gow collector, I have elder ring I like it but again totally different game than Gow

I have only dipped my toe into Elden Ring as I am typically not great at 'soulslike' games but with all the acclaim that the game has gotten thus far, plus this massive DLC, I just may have to finally give Elden Ring a true run.

Elden Ring is my favorite game of all time. I actually just completed my first soul lvl 1 run through Elden and Dark Souls 3. It's crazy how different a fight can feel based on how you tackle it Take Malenia for example. First time I did it with Rivers of Blood and a Summon. And she was really easy and I killed her quick. Second time I did her with a greatsword without summons and it took me 20 hours and weeks to do. Fast forward after 5 ng+ runs I started my sl1 run and it took me 5 hours. All three ways of beating her felt completely different That level of customization without a difficulty slider is incredible. Truly never played a game that you can play a boss 10 times and all ten times the experience is completely different

Use comet azur against Mohg and a summon. As you get better and level up, you can take him on by yourself.

On my second playthrough, I only level health and carry have armour with parry shield holy shit the game is so easy when my health bar almost hit the right corner of my screen stand still tank all combos mid to late game I started to not dodge crucible knights easier from dogs when you parry everything 😅 in the DLC they will add new stat , resistance types like shadow or whatever they name it like frost blood .etc

I do not disagree with this as I did platinum the PS5 and then the PS4 version later. I feel for me it’s just a little too late and have other things to play to revisit this game. Oh well I guess

I wont deny elden ring looks amazing. But the difficulty does put me off. As a 53 year-old gamer, my gaming want, seems to be dwindling down, month by month. The thought of spending hours battling the same boss, over and over, to learn its attack patterns, just doesnt do it for me. Memory is not my strong suit wen i was younger, as it was. Its even worse now! Same with dark/demon souls games. Just not got the paitence to sit there, die multiple times, until i work out attack patterns! That's never been my jam!

This is a great game just wasn't for me I'm very much a story driven gamer and I just couldn't get into the story was very hard for me to follow so I ended up dropping it but I'm sure the dlc will crush it great video man keep up the good work

I'ma let y'all have fun with that I'm good, you not gonna ever under any circumstance get me to buy DLC just to get the second half of a story that should have been in the base game, because if it wasn't for actually hoping to get a completed story there ain't no way I'd be buying a DLC just for the gameplay alone. This will always be a fucking ripoff move to me, lemme know that many answers from the base game won't be in the base game first so I don't waste my money on that one. I would buy Armored Core 6 DLC in a heartbeat, at least I won't be paying for the 2nd half of the game. They actually had the decency to tell a complete story first. For many reasons like this, I don't give this FromSoft community any credit, and warn people who ask me about these game knowing I play them not to trust you guys either. You guys are never honest about these games.
