No Man's Sky is a game I wish I had more time for. It's fun to just bum around exploring. The seamless nature of it makes it so much better for random exploration than Starfield is. Hello Games earned my trust for how they treated NMS, I'm a day 1 Light No Fire purchaser

Of couse Todd is going to say all of that NOW shortly before the release of their DLC, but if it doesn't perform well, I imagine they'll dump it

I think the problem is that Starfield DID copy No Man's Sky. Starfield is a bad rip-off. Worse story, strictly single-player, worse building mechanics, worse planetary systems/generation, you can barely use your ship, and there are tons of loading screens. Starfield has great combat mechanics, but abysmal combat AI. It's a bad rip-off. It should have either not been a rip-off or been a good one. I didn't even play NMS until after Starfield.. Starfield was just that bad that it made me try NMS lol Even Spacebourne 2 isn't half bad and that game is made by ONE GUY

I just stacked 35 months. I got 3-month cards at 31$ for ultimate. I play on PC only.

Never played No Man's Sky. Going to buy it when I buy the PSVR 2 this September.

It was scary, because Hello Games got so generous with the free updates (literally legitimate expansion content updates), that could have been paid DLC, comparatively to other major titles. There was a point where we were begging them to charge for some of the DLC, just to allow us to support them and keep the NMS train going, out of fear that they were run out of money. After the historic come back of NMS and the amazing work they've done, light no fire should be absolutely amazing. And this time around, the bugs shouldn't cause too much hate, since we know what Hello Games is capable of, as far as fixing the shortfalls

Hello Games are at their best when they stay quiet and work on their games. They messed up by saying too much, but there's no such thing as saying too little. They should say NOTHING and shadow-drop. They would get so much respect for that.

The reason why these companies remove features from lower tiers and raise prices is because they know people will upgrade to the better tier to get the features they started with back. Simple way to stop this is to stop upgrading to the next tier or unsubscribe all together

The size of a planet and streamers will complain about lack of content within 2 weeks. lol. This game is on my radar.

"Talk to us" wont happen because he was the most honest dev I ever followed but he was branded a liar. "No Mans Lie". No major channel or gaming news outlets took the time to verify he never lied. I dont blame him for bring crptic now.

no, they're smart enough to understand they need a full release. they're not making the same mistakes with NMS

Just by watching the gameplay I think it's an okay type of hero shooter with nice graphics. My concerns are: 1) It feels like it's made with DEI in mind because there are pronouns and there is not a single character that looks cool or attractive, male or female. There is even a fat guy that looks like a girl. 2) They say they are making new videos every week for content. Does that mean they won't increase the number of heroes for a while because they making a story every week? 3) I'm doubting this games' longetivity.
