I like this build I'm still new to elden ring so I've been trying out a lot of different builds to get a feel for the game and your builds are always some of the best. Also I got a new build idea that would be interesting to see in pathfinder it would be really cool to see a bloodseeker demon build I know it's more thematical with lich but a demonic vampire sounds like such an interesting idea

Thank you! Bloodseeker can be fun, but yeah ideally I'd really like it as Lich because its most unique feature is actually the Bloody Beast Skeleton summon, which no other class can acquire. And it's undead so would be buffed by the fun Lich stuff. Although Vamp Demon is indeed a fun theme!

@cRPGBro I know that's one of the things I hate about pathfinder is when they make a really fun class work with only one mythic path with lich you gain more powerful summons where with demon you get less powerful summons but you can get a much higher intelligence modifier than you can with lich making your blood pool abilities stronger and your bloodlust ability stronger

They changed the speed on it and now it is much faster hitting that many great weapons plus it has a excellent reach, in addition to the strike and stance break potential.

I would personally swap out the Crusher for the Blasphemous Blade. Sure it’s AoW is +10% instead of +30%. But it’s also ranged.

Thanks for the build, I've just killed the final boss of the DLC at my first try with this build. It doesn't have much defense but you can recover your health faster than the final boss does his damage so it was just a matter of patience and wait for the openings to use the ash of war.

I have used a similar build. It's great for stationery and large bosses but on hyper mobile bosses it is difficult to land prayerful strike.

Try dual wielding great stars with wild strikes on more mobile bosses. It will regen 2% of your health on every hit when you dual wield them.

For the faster ones I recommend moving closer to them before using the skill as opposed to quickly chaining it together like with Dancing Lion, thankfully because of how tanky you are it's rather easy to take on hits as you go after them! Especially since the Hyper Armor will make you most unstaggerable.

I've been thinking about this build for a long time, thank you for making a video on it! Seems like the giant crusher is indeed the way to go. I was wondering if the new black steel mace, or the old reliable great stars should be used, but their damage is probably too low.

Glad I could help! My issue with Great Starts is that it's just 1% per strike, but Prayerful Strike is somewhat slow, and is already healing you to full almost always anyways, with 30% per use. if this was a fast AoW like Wild Strikes, then Great Stars would be a much better choice!

Great stars can ve useful if you want some bleed as it has 50 innate bleed then cast bloodflame blade and you will do about 90 bleed per hit

It's better on faster Ashes of War like Wild Strikes, as you with Malenia's you have a timer and if you don't attack fast enough after receiving damage, you won't be able to heal the HP back.

Great build. We all need a build which can get us through the most difficult challenges and this is one. What about adding the Alexander talisman given that we will be spamming the ash of war? I’m thinking the new Black Steel Greathammer might also be a good weapon to go with.

I have the exact same build with black steel great hammer and a great shield to make use of the unique guard counter. Shield and counter in open world and prayerful strike for bosses. Easy mode activated!

There is sometimes a clanging noise and I’m not sure if that is an indicator of when I should be countering or if that is the result of my countering. ​​@@jeanpagette5019 you get them in the base game. You get it from one of the giant caravans, I think it's the on the way to Volcano Manor. You have to first kill the giants so that they stop pulling the coach, then loot the chest in the back. The second one you get from an NPC invader, so yes you can get two in one playthrough.

But if you are two handing you weapon, isn't 66 str the maximum you should get since two handing will add 50% str to damage calculation raising it effectively to 99? Currently slowly playing on similar idea but with heavy armor and great mace. Plan on using two hand talisman once i get it for more reliable damage boost for regular attacks.

Strength can exceed 100 cap when using 2handed. It can be effectively 150 strength.

The strength depends on your build as Str/faith my stats are better allocated if I hit the first soft cap at 54str then dump excess into faith. Me going for 70str was actually worse for me I was losing out on abilities and and ash of war scaling. He says this ash of war is based on strength but it looks like a holy ash of war. I think the build works, but people should do their own testing too.

Is the Rusted Anchor a good alternative to the Giant Crusher? To take advantage of the piercing & counter damage since its a face tanking build. The GC hammer is just too big and blocks the screen 😅

I don't know how you got all the bosses to just not knock you out of that animation but it knocks me out every time. Messmer hits me with a light attack and it will knock me out of this animation. I don't know if it got nerfed or whatever but this does not work.

This one can actually do that, since Prayerful Strike also heals for an AoE around you upon use, both summons/other players and spirit ashes can be healed this way! You will lose some HP due to Morgott's Great Rune being deactivated on other worlds, but still have a lot!

150-160 is ideal. 120 CAN work, at the cost of some damage, by going 60 STR instead of 80. 60 VIG is the only true must have, and if you want to be higher level, you can also go for 99 VIG, but the difference is only around 300 HP.

I think it's the most reliable, yes. You can also use Great Stars Hammer + Wild Strikes AoW against some enemies like Malenia & Rellana if you prefer.

Anything works, the set-up being good or not depends on you. If you started as a bandit, they come with a Dagger and Buckler. The buckler already comes with Buckler Parry ash of war which is probably the best parry in the game. If you started as a confessor you start with a shield and straight sword for good early game block countering. Prophets start with an offensive incantation. It just depends on what you want to do. Plus if you're just starting, bosses will be slightly easier since you're on Journey 1, so bleed builds will probably carry you through 99% of thr base game.

Thankfully it's not really needed, depending on the level range you want to stay at. I cover it in the Level Up Section, it's basically only 300 extra HP over 60 VIG, and 60 VIG still nets you ~3K HP with this build.
