If Snellen looks like she's asleep at 10:31 and you can't interact with her, you need to talk to the Jester looking dude who will be sitting in his chair at 10:55 AFTER defeating Radahn. Then go back to Witchbane Ruins, talk to him again, then you can proceed with the quest normally. Took me a while to figure out lol.

For those who do not find that guy in the church sitting on the chair and the witch in the ruins doesnt talk to you: you have to port to the academy where you fought rennala, behind or in front of rennala (depends on your point of view) is a large door, you need to pass it. then you fight an invasion with her against jerren. after that you have to port to primeevel sorcerrer azurs point, (pretty far up left on the map, you were there once, its where you got the comet azur skill) turn around and there is the set.

This is a great video. Definitely not easy set to get for the new player. It will require you to defeat two main bosses (Rennala and Radan) and medium boss (Loretta) and that invader at the end with Sellen. The sequence of visiting Sellen can also change depending on how you got to Radan - don't get discouraged - the key is to have Jerran visit the body of Sellen by the 4th Church of Marika...

When I went to go see Jerran at Radahn's area he wasn't there the same as you. After going back to Sellen Jerram wasn't there but I had a spell called "Ambush Shard" on a dead body near Sellen. Continued to Raya and I still had the red and gold summon to chose from.

But yes GO BACK TO THE REDMANE CASTLE (hopefully AFTER you've already defeated General Radahn and Finished Ranni's questline) Keep walking til you find a jester-like mage looking dude sitting in a chair in a dark room. THEN go back to Sellen where you have to meet her at the ruins near Ranni's castle thing. Then it should trigger the rest of the quest. Good luck!

I found the fix, I had to exhaust all of Jerren’s dialogue in Redmane Castle after beating Radahn, I exhausted his dialogue at the weeping peninsula after for good measure too

The cheese worked for me today but only if the bosses were front and center on those rocks. If the claw one was staggered off center, especially to the right, he'd hit me even at the cheese spot.

I never got one hit but I definitely took some damage there even being backed up as far as possible. I also found out I couldn't summon my mimic up there. I died the 1st time but 2nd time was fine. All in all it's a good spot if you have enough hp/resistance to not get one hit. And just spam as fast as possible. Definitely recommend throwing down a summon before jumping up there though for a bit of distraction.

I think I figured it out: After defeating Radahn, you must talk to Jerren at Redmayne castle, then at Witchbane Ruins. Then go to the Three Sisters (the ruins with her new body) to transplant Sellen's Primal Glintstone in her new body.

One of the best quest walk through... If for someone the forth and back with Sellen and the Radmane King Dude doesn´t work. Go first to Radans Castle, talk to him, then go to the forth church of Marica, talk to him again. And then head to the Ruins near Rannis Tower and give Sellen her Soul back.

it's the best looking set, but not the best set. There is no best set in this game. The helm is good if you're using the comet azur build otherwise the +6 intelligence helm is better. The chest armor is probably best just for what you get defense wise without weighing a ton. The gloves are terrible and should be switched out with something like the nobles gloves, and there is no boots so wearing nobles boots is a good choice as well.

You should only be using +stat helms early game. By end game you should have all your stats at soft cap and can focus armor elsewhere.

The whole quest line is bugged. Legit made two different characters and the same thing happened at different points. The first one I couldn't find Jerren anywhere and this was after fighting Starcorge And the second one I couldn't give Stellen the freaking soul crystal at all

I can’t speak to Sellen at the location by Ranni’s Rise. I have received Sellen’s Primal Glintstone, but nothing happens when I approach her at her next location. She just stands there lifelessly. Has anyone else had this problem? Great guide by the way

@DsCx Shockz im stuck here too. The chained Sellen faded when i spoke to her, and she is no longer at the original spot. At the new location she is just standing with her head drooping.

10:31 when I enter the room Sellen does not raise her head to talk to me. I’ve defeated Radahn, but I’ve also done the Dark Moon Blade quest and have Blaidd sitting outside Ranni’s tower. Do I have to deal with that before she’ll talk to me? In the video the dragon is still there and it works so I figure not

I think you can't do the dark moon blade quest first cuz I did the same as you and i can't interact with sellen at all

I killed Blaidd and it worked. But I also went back to castle where general Radhan was defeated and talked to the dude on chair prior to that.

I play Mage as my main and don't use any mage armour sets like Azur to T. I use normal armour, right now that being scaled armour. Besides the increase to Focus and Vitality, I find physical resistance to be more useful, and even the scaled armour has better magic, fire, lightning, and holy resistance than Azurs. Can anyone explain if I am missing something?
