I think Gideon uses certain incantations only after you defeat the respective bosses so in this case he wasn't using Mohg's, Malenia's and Rykard's, usually he spams them

I want someone to make Sir Gideon Ofnir, the Small Knowing. He only knows one spell, the blue crystal spear thing. His highest damage output is when he spams that. No recasting phalanx when he's already got it. No trying to use comet azure when it clearly won't work. It might actually make an NPC fight interesting to watch, though I'm skeptical since it doesn't fix his AI

Gideon is like a giant baby. So much power, but his AI doesn’t know how to use it best. Look at the way he demolished Rellana and then look at how he lost to a random dragon on a mountain a few minutes later because he didn’t know how to aim for the head or dodge fire. It’s TERRIBLY ironic.💀
