other cards id try and look out for are Gentle Gemdragon, Ocean Drake and especially Iascylla, Figurehead of the Deep, because they trigger on every single dragonboon while also triggering 2 of them themselves; so you either give every dragon +1+1, heal yourself for 2, or play 4 boons just for playing them plus a repeat whenever you play more big units. also i like the power that gives fury and makes everyone a dragon on elder dragon because, even tho many of his units have it, some support units dont - as do his low cost units - and i tend to get recommended a lot of dragon support cards on him so i like making sure those trigger on/for everyone. love your videos btw ive learned so much by watching you play and your champ reviews etc.

Such a great feeling to play him against Irelia, ms.recall your units. Good job, now I have a 0 cost elder dragon and I can keep replaying him every time you recall him.

The main problem with this deck is most opponents in PoC tend to set up board really quickly leaving you no time to set up your own board. With that said, you need power that can delay early game as long as possible (Stun, Frostbite, etc) The only usefulness Elder Dragon I've seen so far is in Monthly Challenge, sometimes you get the random power like "All Cards cost 2 less" or "All players start with 10 mana" , that's where Elder can shine

Love your "cards to look out for" section again. Really helps you get a feel for synergies you're looking for. I think C tier fits well. A fun champ, but really inconsistent.

Prolly my fav card to find with elder is Alatis the Gallant. Becomes a 5 cost 7/6 that makes dragon boons effect all dragons. Got him with a poro fluft once.. this guy was absolutely cracked x.x

Good thing to note with galeforce is that "I Cannot Be Stopped" stops it from getting shuffled back in the deck so even with unweilding determination or a lot of hp, if he levels up he'll stay.

Age of Dragons is an insane card if you can pick it up. Even better with any spell cost reduction/mana increase. Any dragon drawn (including eldar) now costs 0... it's effectily a game winner.

The beatstick stragey works rly well ngl. Even if i dont get too much good stuff, i dont rly struggle against stuff that i do struggle with when using other champions. Elder dragon might not be as over the top as asol, but he kinda feels like the more balanced version off him imo

Condense, 3c burst spell that creates a 1c 1|1 copy of an ally works really well, since the boons still proc if the base copy is 6c. got that and quickly got Eddie down to 8c.

The beast within is also good on elder imo, giving all the high stat units permanent overwhelm is really strong plus the many dragons in your deck and what you're gonna pick up are getting +1+1 is pretty nice as well

I once completed 75 attack before elder dragon being summoned , then with copy champion power and totem item on him, now i have 3 leveled up elder dragon without ephemeral status on the board 😂, definitely overkill, but it was a fun deck

I tried guardian angel on him and it was s-tier relic. Having deathless when you play him and guardian angel from relic is kinda insane

Elder dragon probably deserves b tier, but only with a specific build that revolves around Elder dragon being the win condition. He feels almost over powered with starforged gauntlets, Hymn of Valor and Chemtech duplicator. This essentially has you paying 3 extra gems to create a 52/52 which can usually level up during his first swing and end the game.

So, I just found out a really busted card that I didnt see listed here. Iascilla, the Figurehead of the Deep can copy the Dragon Boons, since they are Elemental Skills

I think a ED nerf would impact the 6+ cost units that are put thanks to him that shouldn't be easy to access and so wouldnt impact PoC

Why would you recommend Troll King's Crown but not Beast Within? Half the time you're usually ending the game before Elder Dragon even hits the board, plus dragon is a subtype.

Beast is honestly crazy now. Good for decks with incidental subtypes but also scales across a run with the fury power or the dragon, poro or tech items.

Isnt better the strike nexus with elder ? literally 9 dmg to nexus and if you level up 29 xD literally half nexus if you fight a 45 health enemy

The Elder Dragon Path of Champions deck is pretty weak. If you can't play a 1- or 2- drop and your opponent swarms you, you're trying so much to recover from an uphill battle. Ramping just isn't that great when so many decks can get such large followers on the board even within the first few turns - or even the 1st turn in some cases. I lost count how many adventure decks you face put out 10/10 overwhelms on turn 2, or have multiple 4/4's on turn 1. It's just ridiculous. Ramping just seems like a slower way to accomplish creating a big board of big minions compared to many other decks. Even when Elder Dragon is at 3 stars, I often struggle with 2.5 star adventures whereas some champions can smoke those with even less star investment effortlessly. The 2.5 star Draven adventure has so many built-in counters to the Elder Dragon deck - constant stuns and frostbites (which is bad when you can only play 1 minion at a time) to invulnerable 9/1 enemies when you only have 7/7's to block with - you never get a good trade or trade up against this crap. Then there's the deck that plays like 4 cards a turn despite only have 1 card in hand - there was just no way for this deck to punch through that. I was so frustrated playing against this even though I managed to win, but it was not easy. This deck really needs a rework, especially after the constellation patch. Just get rid of the garbage ramp cards and make the star powers more aggressive so that you can just draft 6-cost cards. The problem is that the ramp cards are bad and don't even remotely help you against what your opponent is doing, making it very difficult to reverse their snowball. I also don't know why this deck has Sharpsight. Like what is that going to do? This needed to be removal or a stun or something that doesn't force you to have an early board because many games you won't have an early board to use it on.
