Well, DB users don't use Flinch-free ether, as it comes with Base kit of Demon mode, so it's negotiable. But yes I don't spend all day in demon mode, but the time out of it is short-lived so it's never been a big issue. Edit: I carve regardless I'm the one that wants all the weapons and armor so I just do it. But man I like tea bagging the monster and when others join in it's funny.

lol good times. I remember the Teostra hell. Me and a buddy struggled with fatalis because we spent time searching for 2 more people who I were not brain dead that could round out our party and eventually the two of us killed it in a duo. But more on that story when we hunt fatalis in the series

It's not that hard to find a lobby for Safi. I actually reacently farmed for his amore. Let me tell you, the droprate for those fellwings is nonexistant.

Yeah I am not looking forward to farming safi. It was a big reason I have been talked out of starting a new save before I began filming. Especially that sticky light bow gun. That thing was so filthy but so unbelievably fun to use.

I feel like I’ve seen team dark side do it but that’s a different case. Like they are filming a flawless run and posing for the camera and stuff. But if you are helping out in SOS’s than it’s un hunter like conduct.

Safi still gets hunted alot when hes in rotation and on top of that if you want to do sjege quests you could just go to the monster hunter server and ask people to help you with safi.

I don't really get not carving being disrespectful (as someone who's got 2k hours), imo higher ranked hunters usually join SOS to help people, not for materials. Even in my own quests I don't carve anymore

The way I see it is that it’s just 3 carves and a good encouragement to the newer hunters.

@@defenseless_me I can say with certainty that I've never seen anyone progressing through the game purposefully skip on carving. Not saying there's people that don't know about carving, just saying that I personally haven't encountered it (on Playstation, at least) Edit: also what do you mean by encouragement?

Idk it’s more because you work as part of a team so it just feels a little off when someone who was a part of a hunt doesn’t participate in the tradition of carving. But at the end of the day it’s a game so do whatever floats your boat 👍
