Just to clarify how the multiplayer works, You can watch the cutscenes individually, one of you can abandon the mission and then join the other,or both abandon and start the quest over multiplayer. The cutscenes are the flag that enable multiplayer quests, so as long as you've both seen the cutscenes you can play together. Our first playthrough we thought it was needing to have the quest complete, and soloed far too much of the game.

Yeah it took us a sec to figure that out! I think Sophia did the quest already because she thought we both had to complete it twice, one time with each of us posting the quest to the board.

As much as I love World, Rise makes the ability to co-op the main story from start to finish astronomically simpler than World.

ah you're using the defender weapons with the innate blast element. thems are for rushing through the game to get to iceborne

Yeah...... I didn't realize I was using that until between parts 4 and 5 lol (we just recorded them yesterday) By part 5 I'm no longer using the defender weapons. I ain't no cheater! ~Adam

Wasn't implying you were. Just thought i'd let you know incase you hadn't realized and wanted to correct it to get a more natural feel for the game flow. but keep going bud you're doing great. @@TwoBirdsWithOneGame

@@TwoBirdsWithOneGameit is not cheating but will make the difficulty curve much worse when you hit master rank. The experience is more a full one not using it and makes you learn the game/hunts better.

@@shutupandlisten4onceOh yeah we know! We just said we wouldn't use defender gear and I didn't realize there was more defender gear than just the armor!
