Thank you for uploading Elder Maxwell’s talks. Though I was never able to hear him speak while he was alive, his words have pierced my hardened heart. I’ve let pride and a feeling of intellectual superiority guide me away from the doctrines of Christ and I’ve allowed myself to be blind with trust in my own flesh. I’ve made choice I find difficult to forgive myself for, such choices have given me daily reminders of their consequence. I hope to one day return with full purpose in heart. Every talk I hear from Elder Maxwell brings me closer to that decision. My hope is that I chose soon and not put off the day of my repentance. Until then I will continue to listen and contemplate the words of latter day prophets and apostles in hopes I’ll take courage in their words.

Glad you found this talk. I compiled these videos a while ago to study his words. This man lived what he taught. I believe that’s why he was such a powerful communicator. It takes is one moment of courage to act and start the change you desire. As a fellow traveler on the same road, I wish you the very best in your journey.

Thank you for sharing those inspiring words with us. I would love to hear my children say the same thing , through the prayers of many they will come around whenever the time is right. Elder Maxwell has so many great talks and we were blessed to have him as a servant of God, what a blessing it is to have technology like we do to be able to listen to all of these inspired talks. Even though this talk was given a long time ago, he is speaking about this nation's Constitution and where it is going. Slowly but surely it's going straight to the 🌎 religion of Destruction, unless we continue to do what is needed to save our constitution and God-Given Rights. I thank God we have apostles and a prophet in these latter days, what a blessing they are. God bless the Church of Jesus Christ and this Nation. Just like in the Old Testament when the prophets warned the Israelites to stop there evil ways and repent and come back and the favor of the Commandments and the Lord or they would end up in bondage and killed by their enemy. The exact thing will happen to this great nation and other nations. I believe it is too late, because these Warnings and nation has fallen on deaf ears.

This talk was given and 19 78 at BYU, how true it is even today to watch this Nation slowly crumble, breaking every Commandments of God and living the Commandments of the evil one. Thank God we still have good people to help balance the Good The Bad and The Ugly. As of now the balance is tilting more and more to the side of bad and then one day we will wake up and thank God we are in the hands of the Lord. Only because we listened and we had the desire to hang tight to the rod of iron. There are a lot on the church site from Satan's great and spacious building mocking and hoping to cause confusion and doubt. Once you have made a practice in searching the scriptures and praying for understanding and truth.

Classic Maxwell. Such profound doctrines, so clearly and eloquently delivered. Each word is pregnant with meaning. Edifying. Powerful. So Divine. There are 2 parts to this devotional. 1st Part: US Constitution, Secular Irreligion 2nd Part: Foreordination and Predestination. (Starts at 10.06) " The combined doctrine of God’s foreknowledge and of foreordination is one of the doctrinal roads least traveled by, yet these clearly underline how very long and how perfectly God has loved us and known us with our individual needs and capacities."
