I got into this game about half a year after it was released (so like September October 2020. It can be crunchy and there can be a lot to keep track of so if you don’t like that stuff it may not be for you but I like it. Haven’t tried the delve so idk how well the “AI” works but the fact you can play on your own is nice. I’d recommend it to those that like these games.

I'll be honest, I've not cared too much about any of the non-AoS games you've talked about on the channel but this one looks pretty awesome and I'd really dig seeing battle reports. After now having watched this I'm about to grab the starter set. Thanks for the heads up.

I think they went with Call to Arms to not limit themselves to just Skyrim. (The allies and companions boxes bring in other races so that’s a good sign.) With their Fallout game they’re expanding beyond Fallout 4 and bringing in New Vegas material. Additionally they’ve mentioned tapping into the games 1 & 2 in the future. So I’m hoping that this means in time they’ll expand to cover other Elder Scrolls settings (also a big fan of Morrowind).

I’m also hoping that they release an rpg book for the game like they did with Fallout. (Rpg using the game, not their 2d20 system.)

They have started to release fallout new vegas miniatures for wasteland warfare so I wouldn't rule out the release of elder scrolls miniatures from other games down the line.

My second favorite tabletop game. :D FWW is a little bit better imo because it has more potential for crazy things to happen. ESCtA feels a bit more restricted (can't perform the same action twice per turn, dice don't have as many different symbols [green dice will never do damage, for example], you can only use one effect from dice symbols per attack), which I dislike. But it is still a fantastic game I enjoy a lot, especially with the "Into the Dark" expansion.

Technically it’s not just Skyrim as there is a box with ESO characters but yeah it’s really is just only Skyrim.

Yes! Each faction has thier own list of “responses” and you can play totally solo :)
