Elderly Homeowner Says NO WAY Are You WORKING For FREE In MY GARDEN

In today's video we offer to cut an elderly homeowners hedges for free after she told us that she’s not putting the heating on after the goverment have taken away her winter heating allowance. She point blank refused the offer and was slightly offended at the thought of not paying her way. We get it done for a discounted price so she had her pride intact but also we were able to help her and hopefully she will fire up the heating.

Thanks mate, yea I took a look and bearings seem ok and it hasn't done enough yet to reach the point where they go, that screw on the drive pinion doesn't like to come out sometimes so haven't risked stripping it 😬 I've had it 3 months so payed for itself no end by now😂👍

Well done, I've offered free work to a regular customer before, and I got more or less the same answer, no you do the work, so you should get paid for it, followed by I never claimed and have always paid my way, kind of answer back, and like your self I gave a discounted invoice, and came up with excuses to why it was a lot cheaper than previous, you got to admire the strong spirit of some people of certain generations and how they have lived there life, as the customer would often say, we have make do regardless

Interesting dilemma!!,yes she has not got the pensioner heating allowance but we have to work to pay our heating Working outside in freezing conditions,is not nice. I'm not going politics but it was given to them in past years,we have to save all year round to keep our homes warm. I see a lot of Pensioners,going out for meals all summer while we keep their gardens nice. We should not be in this stupid position,due to stupid Politicians.
