I noticed they made them a long neck unlike the f 4s theirs has the neck join the body at the 14th fret instead of the 12th fret like the gibsons.

The first tune he plays, you mean? That is the d-minor Irish reel "Julia Delaney." If you input that tune title here on youtube, along with the name Kevin Burke, you can see the great Irish fiddler by that name, playing and teaching the tune. :)
