Ray Krock made some other financial arrangements with the McDonald brothers in a kind of handshake deal that he never followed through on that would have paid the McDonald family several million dollars over the years. Great video John. -Marc

Yes, the legend goes in addition to the 2.7 million dollar payout, Ray Kroc was supposed to pay 1% of sales , but it was never put on paper so Ray Kroc never paid it .

I get it, I find the history interesting, but it is kind of creepy that some of their food never rots. I heard of a guy who has a mcdobalds burger that is over 20 years old and it never fell apart, that is kind of strange.
