Very interesting! I love history and this was really cool! We have Taco John’s in Ohio that’s sort of similar to Del Taco but haven’t had Del Taco since 1991. Great video and thanks for sharing!

Now this was super interesting John! I'd love to try a Del Taco, shame we dont have them here in the UK! But one day i'll come to Cali!! So interesting to listen to the history of the origins of Del Taco! Pretty cool to see the burger den, it looks like something from a movie! Taco's for 19 cents! Bargain!! heh. Thank you for visiting, glad you enjoyed the video. The Burgen den was interesting, kind of reminded of the song Jack and Diane from John Mellencamp. Del Taco is growing a lot but it does have some interesting origins. Maybe now that jack in the box owns them they will one day go to the UK .

I did like Del Taco but they weren't as prevalent as Taco bell in Sacramento. -Marc

Yeah, it is interesting chain, they started in California, but they really went big in Texas

Not to be too negative but i think their quality (like everyone's) has steadily gone downhill...especially after they got rid of the orange nacho cheese on their macho nachos God, i used to love those doused in hot sauce. Yes, i know the orange nacho cheese is back. But it's just not the same. If you're lucky enough to get a good batch, their fries are pretty much the best menu item imo
