Great list, loved hearing your thoughts. I think I have 3 bosses to go. I’m not going to say how many times I’ve died throughout the game so far, it’s embarrassing lol! I’m glad to see that I’ve already defeated your number 1 most difficult boss though (thanks to your guide). Learning their patterns can be so frustrating, but also hugely rewarding when you finally get it down.

just finished. figured i'd post my list below as well (easiest to hardest). i had to watch your vid while doing this bc i didn't remember their names. if i replayed this, maybe it'd be switched around since i was learning the game on some of these early bosses, but i found the endgame to be really easy with the last few bosses only taking 2-3 tries. midbosses took me like an hour +. 9. watchdog 8. aryana 7. eksyll 6. guardian 5. drakmur 4. azikel 3. deer god/warden 2. hyem 1. eos

What a nice game and video of it! i really enjoyed both, and my boss lost is almost same, except Deer God is the hardest for me

Tip for eos, use the berserker class with fury fragments and feeding frenzy and only use bloodshot, the health bar melts like crazy

I thought that your assessment of the difficulty ratings were pretty good, but I’ll say that some classes make it much easier than others. For instance, both the light and frost bosses were relatively easy for me because the counter let me just bulldoze through their attacks and deal it back tenfold. Drakmar was hell for me because he had basically no melee attacks, so the damage was slow. My impatient style of playing did not work well against him.

9. Watchdog (he's the tutorial boss, really easy lol) 8. Aryana (idk, beat it in 3 attempts, what can I say? 7: guardian ( can be difficult but I suspect going back he will be very easy, as you are still learning controls when you fight him 6. Drakmur (by far the best and most fair boss, absolutely love this guy, but pretty easy) 5. Deer god/warden (deer god is awful and super annoying but I beat warden first try, he was incredibly easy due to how telegraphed his attacks are 4. Hyem (pretty difficult but has low enough health that you can just bully your way though him) 3. Ezekiel (pretty hard boss, died a lot but made it through in the end) 2. Eksyll (there is so much garbage being thrown at you, if you arent running a very dps heavy build he can be very hard due to half of his attacks doing like half ur health) 1. Eos (me no likey)

Azikel is hard and come very early in the game and the gap between the Guardian and him is huge. Took me 2 hours to beat him and you're right; the stamina issue against him mean often sudden death

My list would be quite different (gonna include the DLC bosses too): 12: Watchdog 11: Aryana 10: Eksyll 9: Drakmur 8: Azikel 7: Eos 6: Guardian 5: Lord of steel 4: Rejected daughter 3: Deer/warden 2: Rotten crown 1: Hyem Idk why but hyem was an agonizing experience for me, i just kept getting hit by his spear arm and the stamina drain gave me a hard time, took me about an hour and a bit. Rotten crown was actually insanely difficult and probably objectively speaking the hardest boss in the game, took me almost an entire hour to beat. I just couldn't do the deer so i looked up a build with the shards that lets you perma bloodburst and i STOMPED it along with the warden, otherwise i may have been stuck for an hour or more. Rejected daughter isn't that hard but i struggled alot because i was greedy but once i played it slower i beat her in little under an hour. Lord of steel was actually insane and i clutched so hard defeating him, took a bit over half an hour. The guardian was a HUGE roadblock for me because my muscle memory was still on dark devotion controls, so i often pressed the wrong buttons and i didn't understand the pacing of this game just yet at that time. Eos and azikel were SO MUCH FUN, and by far the best fights in the entire game for me. Both took me about 45 mins each but i had so much fun with their attacks, really awesome fights. Drakmur was also a brilliant fight that was probably also the most unique. Took me a while just because he has a ton of health but i had a lot of fun. The other bosses got roflstomped in 10 minutes and were a joke comparitvely. I feel kinda bad that i used the broken build for Eksyl but i had just killed the DLC bosses and really wanted to get it over with lol.

Fought Eos as my third boss. Spent 50 minutes figuring out the mechanics and trying to beat him. Ole buddy was just pain.

I’ve just finished the game (with a little help from some of your videos), including the new free expansion bosses - Have you gone back to the game since and tried them? Here’s my take (easiest to hardest). I actually did the expansion bosses before the final two regular game bosses, the Deer God and Eksyll, so I found them laughably easy by comparison (I got gud lol): 1. The Watchdog 2. The Guardian 3. The Deer God 4. Eksyll - Princeps 5. Drakmur, the Nightmare 6. Azikel, God of Light 7. Aryana, First of the Moon 8. The Rotten Crown 9. Hyem of the Frigid Waste 10. Zylad, Lord of Steel 11. Eos, God of Unity 12. The Rejected Daughter Good lord that Rejected Daughter nearly caused me to quit! I’m glad I persevered though.

I completed the game on one set and i can tell the ice boss and eos god of unity where the hardest bosses by a long shot for me

Ironically, Drakmur is the hardest boss to no-hit, since his clones deal damage when they spawn, which has little to no warning

I'm working on Eos for the last boss hitless now and it's rough. Drakmur was tough, but I actually had more trouble with Azikel.

when u pick Counter class, the game become more easier. That class is bonker cuz you can always be greedy and you can parry them while you are still attacking. Its crazy op cuz I hated their dash system where you cant dash if you are attacking. Love the Counter class cuz I can block even I still have attacking animation.

Fun list, but for me Deer God is practically free and Drakmur was probably the hardest boss on my first run.

Very different list for me. Drakmur was definitely number 2 in terms of difficulty with the guardian at 3 (I beat most other bosses on my first to third try). By far the most difficult boss was Eos. I made the mistake of going to him after guardian (vs trying azikel) which led to killing azikel on 2nd try afterwards and most other bosses seeming trivial.

@@qwertyuiop3656 Nice. I think for most people he is the toughest boss. I remember watching Northernlion play the game and be stuck on him for a solid hour / hour and a half.

Interesting ranking but for me Ezekiel would be much higher and so would drakmur I just couldnt get past those red orbs and the mirrors and Ezekiels attacks just frustrated me to no end.

Actually the guardians shield is just a decoration. It doesnt block anything

That was by far the hardest boss for me too. Took me many many hours. After her the end-game bosses were laughably easy by comparison!

Great vid but imo ekysell is the hardest boss in the game especially on new game+ and eos is pretty easy not the easiest but still pretty easy

I didnt find eos that hard. I personally found hyam a lot harder or other bosses but i would say hyam is one of my number 1/2/3

I lime hard games, Ive played dark souls, hollow knight, cuphead, and while hard, they are fun. This game is hard and not fun at all. With dark souls, it feels like when I die its my fault and I can learn. This game has a crappy dash and isnt fun at all when I die I feel I learn nothing. It isnt a balanced game, Dark souls is hard, get balanced fairly, giving you chances to get better and learn. If anyone is wondering if you should buy this, please dont. If you havent play any douls game yoy wouldnt even make it past the title screen. I love souls games anf souls like, but this person cant makr a gamr
