Eldhraun an Icelandic lava field printed with Epson Fine Art paper

Hello Sam, thank you for sharing your knowledge. I started printing on the P900; it's new for me, coming from an analog past. Although, I have a problem with the Epson Print Layout app on my Macbook Pro M1 OSX 15.0.1 Sequoia. The app doesn't work. (Can't find the printer and Images don't load) Even after upgrading all possible Epson apps. Do you have any suggestions?

Hey Paul. Yes, I know the pain! I'm pretty sure I dealt with the same issue back in August. I found it was down to how the printer driver was set up in Apple settings. This video solved it for me, hope it works for you also. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oKTCpKxvqb19Z80si=apfOnJN3TPARIqaR&t=732

@@sambarton_photo WOAW Sam, Thank you!!!! This surely is a big deal. Now the app works well. I only have to figure out why only the Epson papers are showing in the Epson Media Installer.

@@PaulVanCaesbroeck my understanding (happy to be proven wrong) is that you can't add other paper types to this application. You either add their ICC profile to the exported file in photoshop and then set EPL to print using that profile. Or, you check on the paper manafactures site and see which Epson paper stock that their paper maps to, which I have tried sccessfully.

@@sambarton_photo Makes sense. Meanwhile I made some black and white prints. The Epson P900 is a great printer. I can say goodbye to darkroom printing now. Thank you again for helping me out. Have a nice day.
