Eldoret Town, Kenya. Eldoret is a principal town in the Rift Valley region of Kenya and serves as the capital of Uasin Gishu County. Eldoret is the 5th largest town in Kenya after Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu and Nakuru. It's also called the city of Champions because of world record breaking marathon athletes who come from this region like Eliud Kipchoge and Rudisha.

Reason why eldoret is home of champions is because most of the athletes reside here, most train in iten whichs close proximity to eldoret and its high altitude, famous marathoners like MO Farah from the UK come to train in iten, the growth of eldoret is attributed to its agricultural activities, booming businesses, investments by the athletes and an international Airport whichs along eldoret kisumu road (C39)

I passed the town from Mombasa before getting to Kisumu the town is truly amazing and should now be a city status to add up more investments .

I Left Eldoret 2019 and l was living in huruma , Pilot center next to Bibato apartments and now Eldoret is very clean nowerdays Gov MANDAGO is doing great Job... good work broo

I lived there for 3 yrs, at west indies...had my firstborn there at eldoret hospital. Nice place, it looks cleaner and less chaotic than when i was there.

Eldoret town is in the Rift Valley region of Kenya, in the middle of the Kalenjin community which speaks Kalenjin dialects. The town can be referred to as a multilingual town due to the many communities which inhabit the town
