Don't forget about "dragon fangs" and "dragon breath", if you discard them with faithless looting, or bitter reunion you could end up with a 9/8 Trample Haste eldrazi.

Yes that's the defining feature of pauper. It is common's only. You check to see if a card is pauper legal at Scryfall.com :)

to be clear. A card is pauper legal if it was printed at common rarity at any point in time. If Thraben Inspector is reprinted in the newest set as an uncommon, it remains pauper legal because it was at one time printed as a common.
