Currently we are extremely strong in AoE (probably top 3), quite good on ST (not the best, but above average), have little funnel, bad spread damage, decent 2 targets, decent 3 targets. If this is how ele goes to live, I'll probably make it my main, but there is one thing I don't understand. There are 2 options for EQ (earthquake) 1. Under your selected target or 2. At your mouse pointer. With that in mind, EQ with 1. gives Lightning rod only to your selected target, so how does Lightning rod apply with EQ 2. ? Do we need to tab target with EQ 1. to apply rods to every target ? Does EQ 2. apply rods at random targets ? Is one better over the other one ?

I swear I played this same build week 1 of prepatch and I was doing really well. The idea is to have maximum Storm Elemental up time from Windspeakers. It seemed like Blizzard had that idea in mind because they threw the Lightning tree straight down the middle and it actually works perfectly when selecting all the talents for it. Storm Elemental buff if huuuge though hell yeah

I'm gonna give it a go in TWW now! :) quick question if ok to ask...During the "No CD burst" (at 8:55 mins into the vid) seems you do lots of chain lightning and do not spend on EQ as much. Any reason for that? several times in the fight you could have EQ but kept on CL. thanks in advance and keep those vids coming!

Thank you for all your content during this beta! I'm pretty ok with this build, it's very "versatile" since we use almost all the elements, it's really not bad, at least for mythic + I just hope they will fix/buff Farseer/fire build, a little because for me it's The template we should play in raids (hoping the stats aren't too much of a problem) But it's good, they don't murder us, they adjust and rework, it's nice Again, thx for the vidéos 🫡

Hadn’t played primal storm Ele in a while. Do you still need to wait for the elemental to cast its damage modifier before casting tempest. Sorry for the noob question.

Could you run Equilibrium/Mountains will fall, replacing primordial and splintered on the far right. You could technically take thunder ward as well droppig cauldron wonder how that does in single target

In a pre-patch, just experiment with how you feel. There are no proper guides and its a full-on meme state since pre-patch uses old tierset, no hero talents and old dungeons. This will only last 8 days. No need to stress.

In fire build, the lava burst spam can be quite fun as it allows movement and it's good funnel, but I think without icefury in the rotation, lightning is fun and maybe easier to play. Ele blast > earthquake > Ele blast > earthquake ... is not every fun to play due to slow casts, ramp is slow since you are blasting half the time, and if tank moves mob from earthquake then all your dps is gone. Chain lightning spam is just far easier and casts super fast, and you still get free movement in while casting earthquakes.

could aftershock be more viable in storm now even cause u can spend more mealstrom in the end and have more tempest , also more unlimited power stacks maybe

With Earth Shock, Aftershock is terrible in single target. You need SoP for a non ele blast build to do any single target damage. You could maybe play Aftershock with the fire build actually using Ele blast now that LMT is a 24s cd. You will have LMT and Prim Wave every pack, there is no need to use SoP to keep up the Flame Shocks anymore, and Aftershock is MUCH better with Echoes.

What the hell is blizzard doing, the emotional roller coaster of tuning is insane do they just throw random number at a class/spec and see what happens...farseer was insane, nerfed too hard and buffed storm. Now storm looks way too strong....dam this makes me nervous, to go from S tier to D tier back now S+ teir. I'm nervous to see what blizzard is going to do when they find out storm bringer ele is doing 3 mil sustain on every pack, with 6 mil+ burst...yes there is an aug but still. I love it, but seems too good to last. Cross fingers it stray strong
