Not likely... Lightning Rod is very strong and Stormkeeper in ST isn't nearly as powerful as in AOE... It's not nothing, but Lightning Rod is more worth it. :)

Yes, Aberrus looks comparatively Single Target heavy and looks to be more caster friendly than Vault has been.

Well I still like my elemental shaman, I've moved away from it and switched to a destruction warlock. My AOE potentially actually gets triple that of elemental, and my single target can maintain 80 to 100K. Elemental well fun is just underperforming way too much for my liking

i might finally give up ele (been ele main since vanilla), but the ST is really poor compared to lock, and the aoe depends on stationary mobs in m+ for EQ to shine. Ele needs a ST buff of probably 20-30% to be competitive. M+ spec has piss poor ST dmg. Looking forward to d4 and dead island and eventually blizzard may buff ele. META ranged status always seems to go to locks. They really should give a QoL change to EQ and let it be targetted on a mob and follow them if they move.

@@rf2948 I'm right there with you brother. that's why I switched to Destro. At first it seems slow, and hard to play. But with the F&B build even in heroics I can get that damage out quick enough before they die and be top damage all day. ANd when a boss comes? oh boy lol. Feels so good to pull over 100k on a boss, easily with heroism consistent too. Everything feels so good and well designed. Ele feels like a big mess of regular abilities that are being forced to be main ones.

I agree. Seeing his ele struggle to maintain 60-70k DPS on ST is just so sad to me, and I had mained ele for a long time. It's just a low performer right now compared to other classes.

@@elijahscheltinga8583 I mean the DPS numbers in this video are first and foremost down to the fact thatthe build is just pretty bad. Ele Shamans have held 100k+ DPS on dummies on PTR and are looking to be one of the stronger Single Target Speccs in 10.1 as of now.
