Yey for the pizza delivery! 🤩 There is a guy driving around his truck and selling cold beer and local wine too! How cool, it is like you never have to leave the place 😆

We were there in the summer, and there was a lady bringing home-made food every day, that you ordered the previous day. We loved it :).

There was a lady (Vana) selling fresh vegetables and fruits daily. We bought local wine from her.

It is nice and interesting to see, that it can work, people can take care. Are there shops and restaurants nearby or is everything closed now- except Lidl?

It is so nice to see even large camper crowds are not spoiling the free parking places in beautiful fragile nature. All minimarkets are closed during off-season. Some tavernas are open, we thank Greek gods to pizza delivery. There is not many Lidls in Peloponnesos peninsula so we are happy to shop in one. Most Greeks just grow their own food so there are not many shops here in the countryside.

I loved it there. Had I not accepted a 'friend' joining us we would have stayed longer for sure. Any one know of such similar spots maybe in Bulgaria/Romania where community of campers meet in such a way?

We havent heard any such places, there was some farm where alot of people go workcamping but i think that is the closest.

No such place In Bulgaria. Wild camping is forbidden most places on the coast and the few that are free, it's either very bad access and there is trash and noise everywhere. People are not respectful to nature and others around. I am Bulgarian and I came here to Greece to rest from the chaos and dirt.

SOLD! As soon as I am able, I am going there! How wonderful that the community got together to spay and neuter the strays. Pizza delivery to the beach!!!! Yep, that's the life for me. 😌🚚

the thicknes of the pizza bread is the big talking point for Greeks , as it needs to be thick but not hard fluffy but not mussy .... the thin Italian style is outof question for the countryside. Also the usua order is the "special" whatever that is .... usualy ham bacon peppers

Thanks for the info. Out pizza base was perfect then! It was very yummy! We rarely buy food from tavernas/restaurants but is has never been disapointment here in Hellas. We love Greek food and the passion that goes to good food making. Dont't tell anyone but we enjoy Greek pizzas over Italian ones!
