On my old Ford Transit all the black part had gone almost white and tried old engine oil on a rag, worked great, amazing

Engine oil! Well if you think of it, its plastic which is made out of oil so it will absorb it.

Hi, a 50/50 mix of boiled linseed oil and white spirit is amazing and very easy to apply with a washing up sponge, it will take 10 minuets to do your van, it will need doing again after a year but it’s quick cheap and looks great.

Joni, we know you have more tools than that! Or does a soldering iron not count? 😁 I'm a bit embarrassed with the amount of tools I have now. 🤣 Last year we bought Aupropaint Matte Black Spary Paint (by Auprotec) and not only sprayed our motorhomes front bumper but also the complete skirt. It really looks great and almost a year later shows no wear. We actually got a pack of 10 cans and only used half.. Might do our rims in black this year and throw the hubcaps away.

Sara, plastic always fade to grey. You can always but blacking stuff at any auto part store.

Blacking stuff tend to stay year or two, ten years would be beneficial.

At some point I want to replace the plastic trim with Rhino Lining (or the European version of). That will require some time though, so I will need to be in one area for a bit. That not for profit place looks great!! SONAX and Liqui Moly make colour restoring products. I thnks Vandolf Ironsides is a good new name since it prevailed in its battles. Come of a couple days and stay...😏I just may.😊🚚

Moikka, täältä suomesta. Olen haaveillut muuttavani autoon ja että voisin lähteä kohti aurinkoa myös. Mietityttää käytännön asiat, esim se että miten katsastaa auto? Te että ilmeisestikään ajele kerran vuodessa katsastamaan autoa, miten olette hoitanut sen puolen?

Hei. Suomeen palatessa on 30 päivää aikaa katsastuttaa auto, jos on määräaika kulunut ulkomailla olon vuoksi umpeen. Tarvittaessa on pystyttävä todistamaan ulkomailla olo esim. lauttalipuilla. Vakuutukset pysyy normaalisti voimassa vaikka ajaa katsastamattomalla autolla ulkomailla, kunhan noudattaa tuota määräaikaa Suomeen tullessa.

Cost of living in in crisis! A lot of food products here in Greece are higher costing than they are in the Nordic countries (where salaries are much higher).
