Growing up on a farm, we raise animals for food and profit, but that doesn't mean we're without heart, occasionally you come across a particular one that just needs to be spoiled. Eleanor is one of those that gets bullied but is a sweetheart and could use a little spoiling.

@@mattstopa9436 Eating a carbohydrate rich diet has given me Diabetes, by switching to a meat based diet I've been able to control my A1C without drugs. They haven't tasted it because it's been to rare, Bison has the highest quality meat found, low in fat, high in protein chocked full of all kind of nutrients you need, some of which you can only find in red meat or expensive supplements, if I had access to an affordable source it would be the only I would eat. Vegans drive me crazy because they often don't know what they're talking about.

Meat is actually more insulinogenic than table sugar, look it up. 😍😍. LOOKS like Elenor is sweet on you as much as you are with her. How does she keep her weight up if she’s always butted away? What would happen if you fed her separately in a safer place if you can convince her to even do it? Seems like you could train her with a lot of patience even though they’re unpredictable and wild by nature. You’ve accomplished so much with your herd and it’s amazing how well they respond to you. Baby Brooke is fascinated and watching you and those BIG stuffed animals. Soon she’ll be talking to them and that will be funny to see the interaction to her baby chatter. My youngest daughter was always with me when I had to groom and work our many horse. It was like they had their own communication back and forth and her giggles made them want to lick her more. As she got older I swear the animals never lost sight of her and all the babies went to her first whatever her age. She’s going to be a great partner for yourself as you teach her their history and hopefully she’ll carry on your love for them too. Hopefully Elenor will live a long life and stay as infatuated with her too. So glad you shared this memory you’ll have forever. I’d say she looks like the both of you. Sometimes it's hard trying to keep track of what's happening because videos often pop up out of order. Sometimes I will be watching a video and wont realize that it's from a year ago. Your baby is so cute and she was loving hanging out with you. I would give Elenor a spot to eat by herself if you can. If Elenor will come at your call you might get the others eating and then get her off in an area of her own. She looks a little thinner than the others even with her smaller size. She is a nice animal and much more tame than the others and a good personality. I was also thinking of your feed. You might get a chute system of some sort so you can pour the feed out without lifting it over the fence and getting in the dust. Maybe a top for your bucket and a PVC part that will let you pour through the fence spaces into the trough without having to lift it over. Less dust and effort for you. Your herd is really looking good. I think Dunbar was disappointed you fixed the feed trough. Now he cannot tear it up.

We had an incredible driving trip to the Yukon. Got as far as the Arctic Circle. During a day of truck trouble, we were parked not far down the highway where the wild Bison spend time. My most incredible memory. They appear so docile. It was all I could do to stay in the truck. I really wanted to touch the top of their heads.
