I don't know how exactly to ask, but I have a family friend whose brother was murdered around a decade ago. 11 people were charged with his murder after targeting him for being the only black person at a party. The main person that initiated the murder was accepted parole this last month, and the victim's mother (my family friend's mother) has been fighting hard to make her story known. It would mean the WORLD if you helped spread awareness over this case. If you feel up for it and want to get back to me, please let me know and I can give u more info. I'd appreciate boosts from anyone who reads this. Edit: His name was Marquis Leblanc UPDATE: Not a true crime coverer, but directer Scott Budnick, YG, and John Legend all contacted the mother and are going to help spread her story. The “true crime” genre is huge. There are many reasons why people enjoy these videos, but I personally like to hear the untold stories of people who were taken too soon. This is a way to honor people nobody would have otherwise heard of, and though these stories are sad, they often highlight the goodness and kindness of the individuals that ended up in those unfortunate circumstances, while also reminding us that evil exists and to be vigilante in protecting those that we love. This saddens and angers me to no end. Her baby girl will grow up without her mother because they were jealous that Leticia was trying to make something of herself. I'm glad they got these guys and her family hit justice but not having her body to bury makes it hard for them to move forward. I would personally have a hard time throwing away trash knowing that it may add to the " tomb" of trash my baby's remains was buried under. So sad 😞😥my prayers are with them 🙏

Group mentality is so detrimental to society. Edit: The news clip at the end with Brian and her mother is so disgusting. 😭 2nd Edit: If you're willing, look into the Toni Nichole case. Toni and her husband (I think) Went viral on Twitter and IG back in like 2014 maybe because her husband got a huge portrait of her face tatted on his back, and when he posted it, his caption was really sweet. about 2 years later, her husband threw her down a flight of stairs ending her life in front of their 2 year old daughter. then went on the run.

I feel like Johnny probably tried to make a move on Latisha & she turned him down so he orchestrated this attack on her to soothe his bruised ego or exert power over her. I think it’s very telling that he was the only one who claimed innocence bc he didn’t even have the balls to attempt to do this crime on his own, he had to convince 5 other people to help him do it. Of course he wouldn’t be able to take accountability for his own actions.

Idk if its because im earlier than usual or what but im seeing so many comments saying “omg i get so happy when Eleanor posts “ and replies to that with “so the murder of an innocent woman makes you happy?” No. Eleanor is literally and amazing true crime KZbinr and i look at her as a role model for starting a true crime channel as well. She does such an amazing job covering the story of what happened on all ends. From the killers to the victims. Especially the victims. In every one of these videos a lesson could be learned and she brings awareness to that. True crime is hard genre in general, these are the lives of real people that have been affected. At the same time its amazing to see justice be served and see how it all folds out. The thing im more interested of is the psychology behind it, seeing how everyday people that you might see at the grocery store or at restaurants can be capable of such atrocities. Not because im happy to hear about an innocent woman’s murder.
