Most informative K4 demo I saw so far. Thank you Eric for the straight and clear communication. It is clearer now what the K4 is now, what plans are and what potential it has as a platform for future improvements.

Looks like a great transceiver ! I don't believe it has a similar cw bar graph tuning indicator that the K3 has. It would be nice as it is a great, quick visual way of zero-beating a cw signal. I know it has auto-zero beat ( as most all transceivers do now ) and the mini-pan indicator but a var graph is really nice. Maybe this feature can be added in firmware update. 🙂

I have given up on seeing this radio in my hands before 2023. California, shut down shut down shut down. I feel for their situation but would of also made the choice to move production to another state. I had to turn down the audio to be able to watch the whole video but good feature coverage of the rig. Thank you!

Maybe already enough to tell about K4 only in pictures and words. We all understand that there are certain difficulties. But the rest of the world has not stopped and continues to work and survive in this situation. I am an adherent and ardent admirer of your products. However, I have already burned out buying a new K4. Unfortunately life is short and I had to buy TS-890.

OK just to be clear, on the K4D, there’s multiple RX antennas and it sounds like they could be assigned to different TX Antennas. Is the front end capable of handling a sensitive RX Antenna within the RX Antenna specifications of distance to a TX Antenna (40 feet apart) without needing any external filtering going in through the RX antenna input to protect the front end of the rig? I’m running up to 1200 watts at times. Also, I have three RX antennas, can I assign all 3 to 1TX Antenna? If I have a lot of food, that could be useful to me if I’m using my best TX Antenna.

Nice radio but you would think Eric would have figured out how to get rid of the "digital noise" at his house! How can you evaluate the real world performance of the radio with that noise situation?

@@Capecodham Having read all their updates it's been one delay after the next. Suppliers being shut down, PCB boards ordered in the wrong priority for other older models etc. The state they are in has played the major delay with repeated lockdowns.

Then they said April 2020, then in August they said the end of August, then they said the end of September and since then they have said nothing. A question was asked on this video and avoided an answer, at least in the first 26 minutes of this garble fest.

Yes, that's been covered in previous videos. I believe the monitor content can be selected; you aren't stuck with repeating what's on the K4 display.

It has been my observation/experience that Elecraft youtubes are not a 2 way communication. It is only a tell. I have asked questions in the past only to never have them answered.

I have a Elecraft products. Elecraft has always had some of the best customer communication in the industry. So for Elecraft not respond to questions here, is in conflict with the rest of its persona. I look forward to the change.

@@henkremijn7984 I never said I did not like the equipment dipstick. I own 3 K3s, 2 KX3s a KPA 500, 1500, Tuners and about 6 other pieces. I have hearing loss in both years as a result of working around every Aircraft in the Air Force inventory from 1879 to 1999. That audio popping plays hell on a hearing aid. Now go make fun of that disability. Seems I'm not the only one who had an issue with the audio.Go pick a fight with something that makes sense and stop making up stuff in your mind to assault someone.

Fires in LA, epidemics and so on, what else will happen at 2021 ...? A simple question, where are those buyers who got their radio? No reviews, no videos from real customer. Just words, bla bla bla More than a year and a half of expectations! It looks like a scam. Gibberish and complete disrespect for the buyer.
