Been watching some american news lately out of boredom, I also noticed that the media is always one-sided. Shouldn't the media be neutral?

@Hunter D Every American news channel.. they have all been bought. Fox just tries to cater to conservatives, which even they've proved to be a snake in the grass. The news should never tell you how to think or feel, they are simply there to give us information. I've heard newsmax + oann are much better options, I just choose to sift through news articles + figure read in between the lines. Mainstream media uses certain words to drive a narrative. Next time you read an article try ignoring "gotcha" titles + cutting out filler words (those that are meant to invoke emotion)... Also try using different search engines, those also censor information. It may not appear biased if you aren't paying attention. I watched the President speak everyday when I was laid off of work for quarantine and I noticed they constantly twisted his words. I don't care if you don't like President Trump, just consider critically thinking. MSM is constantly censoring "wrong think". If you were in a bubble how would you know ? The silent majority is a real thing.

The media should be neutral. This is the problem. The US has been hit with propaganda, including other left leaning countries. It's a globalist movement. Fox + CNN, are both trash. CNN pushes lies + Fox news pretends to be conservative. Check out project veritas for exposing CNN.

@Hunter D You don't understand, our government is corrupt + has been infiltrated, including Republican politicians. I would advise trying to keep an open mind + sourcing your information other than mainstream media, they are the problem. I've been a registered democrat for 10 years, that should make you wonder.

@Asphyxia1.0 Trump isnt very intelligent with his words. However, based of his policies and past actions, its pretty apparent he doesn't care if Mexicans immigrated here as long as they come through legal means. However, everytime he tries to enforce borders he gets called racist for making use of Ice which was already prevalent in obamas time. This is also apparent when he banned travellers from China as soon as covid 19 struck which makes no sense since literally every other Asian nation had already done so.

In my opinion, there are two main ideas or issues and their ancillary effects that the people of the United States are divided. The first is globalism fatigue. Globalism was sold to the public as the new great engine of economic growth and stability. For many large corporations, global business activity has been incredibly successful. For many middle class workers and small businesses, it has been devastating. The second issue is wealth disparity. With the advent of the Age of Information, the country is essentially in a second Gilded Age of incredible wealth and power controlled by a very limited stratum of society. Essentially, they are our economic Brahmins. All other issues regarding immigration, healthcare, diversity, freedom of speech, ad infinitum...are just people fighting for the bread crumbs off the table of gross economic disparity.

Don't form a group to demand change instead of asking for it. Lowering taxes helps the economy expand - the optimal rate in aggregate is around 20%, and we haven't been that low since before the great depression. The real mechanism that robs the future is inflation, which is necessary when the government goes into debt (they inflate away debts so the real value of the debt is reduced). Inflation reduces the real value of your savings, thus it robs the future. So, if you don't want to rob the future, the government must do two things - don't spend more than they receive in taxes, and don't tax more than the optimal rate, which is the equilibrium between the tax dead-weight on firms and the addition to the economy gained from government expenditures. There, I just explained the second half of your econ 101 class, lol

At this point, it is fairly certain that China will replace the US as world leader. If Trump is re-elected, China's rise will be fast tracked. The US political system is too corrupted and ineffectual for it to ever return to past glory. It's the normal way of things - empires rise and fall.

I find that narrator's comments biased against Trump. For example, she said Trump's tactics were bullying other countries; she obviously doesn't know what business involves and doesn't realize why Trump was able to accomplish more while the nice-guy Presidents of the past accomplished little if anything. So I didn't listen to the rest.

Where are we at with regard to energy in 2021?? The economy was the best in the history of our country before the China virus. Recently the congress and president passed a bill called covid relief this bill has about nine percent of the funds that is actually covid relief. The other 91% is for pork projects primarily in democratic states such as new York and California. Of course this is all deficit spending.

The idea the supreme court can remain neutral has really been exposed as a sham. The fact they're referred to as conservative or liberal judges is really indicative of how partisan the court is and how becausw of this shouldn't have so much concentrated power. Ways of fixing this would be to have term limits, and the people not the president, should get to vote for the judges in the court.
@dove.journal
@dove.journal 3 жыл бұрын
The people do vote for judges via the senate, which has to approve the judges nominated by the president. Another way to help fix the problem is requiring a supermajority in the senate which forces the president to pick a judge that would get bi-partisan support. Which was the precedent before senate democrats changed it in 2013.
@reichsfolger

The Supreme Court is actually pretty much non-partisan & more complex than many think.E.g., Chief Justice John Roberts, a conservative, often votes with the liberals. RBG said in 2016 that she had no problem with appointing a Justice in an election year. It really comes down to Constitutional literalists and Constitutional interpreters. So my prediction is ACB will not vote to strike down the ACA or Roe v. Wade. Mark my words!

So President Obama's $11 trillion dollar increase was disastrous. He doubled the debt. Without the Whoopty Doo Floo, the debt increase for President Trump would be $3 or $4 trillion.
