Why does nobody seem to mention the importance of fasting w/ prayer? It is such a an integral piece of gaining a greater relationship with God and gives us time to understand His will. We begin to understand Jesus' suffering, why He was sent to suffer and because that was His reason for becoming man that we too can offer up our suffering through fasting w/ our prayers! If someone wants to be truly pro-life, advocate for homes for girls who wouldn't be safe at home if they're pregnant. Support Catholic and other good agencies that offer alternatives to abortion. Take responsibility for the lives you want to welcome into the world. Pay for ads that promote pro-life views. As for laws, you can't legislate morality. We can all agree on laws against murder, because there is a reasonable shared definition of "murder." However, it's foolish to think that we're at a point where there's a shared definition of "life" as beginning at conception.
