Internationally, he had things running so "smoothly" that he was able to "negotiate a peace treaty" between Israel and the Palestinians without any input or involvement with the Palestinians. He negotiated another "peace treaty" with the Taliban without any involvement with the Afghan government. He set a date to pull our troops out of Afghanistan but had no plan for getting Americans or those who had helped our troops out of the country. Remember when he addressed the United Nations and was laughed at by the assembly? Meanwhile, here at home, 2020 was a banner year for Trump. The price of gas collapsed so fast that even now, the oil companies are afraid to invest in increasing production. Instead of lining up to buy that cheap gas, throughout the country, people were lining up around the block at food banks. There are reasons that millions more of us voted for Biden than Trump. Trump's actions since that election have only confirmed those reasons.

Heck, there were serious allegations that Joe Kennedy had conspired with Mafia figures to have thousands of dead people vote in Chicago (and yes, the Mafia actually had that kind of power in local elective offices in Chicago back then), there were serious allegations of Florida shenanigans in 2000 which needed the Supreme Court to intervene (and many allegations of fraud that continue till today), and 2004 had serious suspicions thrown at the GOP for illegal tactics in Ohio that swung the '04 election for Bush. Not to mention the HUNDREDS of smaller elections that are "denied", such as Stacy Abrams calling her 2018 defeat a fraud (and many in the media backed her claim), and do we really need to mention how many Tammany Hall style city corruption voting scandals there has been over the last two centuries? But we do have a large number of retirement communities (Sun Cities) as well as a deeply ingrained Wild West mentality. Arizona was the last to become a state in the lower 48 (1912) and I think that history of resistance carries on today, in addition to the staunchly conservative white elderly retirement population here. Add to that Democrats are so useless when it comes to marketing, campaigning, and voting, it's kind of a recipe for disaster. Kari Lake was a nobody - she was a Democratic news anchor until she observed Trumps formula for propaganda and fundraising. Ducey came dangerously close t9 drinking the Kool-aid but backed off at the end, which may have been political suicide for him....same as Rusty Bowers. Unfortunately even the Republicans who are standing up to this faction of Republican extremists and conspiracy theorists are now being voted out by the citizens who have fallen for the lies. My own family watches Fox News 24/7, and when they start yelling it's almost word for word what you might hear on that channel. And it's often prompted by a relatively benign topic.

We are indeed in deep trouble if Rudy can ask any type of government official to break their oath to any state constitution or the U S Constitution. This violates the 14 th amendment - and since they were representing the Trump campaign, none of them should ever be able to campaign for or hold elected office ever again - that is the truth of our laws. Will we continue to be a nation of people that abide by the Constitution and our community agreed upon laws? The Constitution was written to spell out and codify our rights, freedoms, *and responsibilities* . What of any law can be upheld, if we pick and choose which ones to ignore and which ones to over enforce to suppress dissent? Is this the country we really want?

I lost all care for this country. I remember how everyone was so united after 9/11. Now, you can’t smile at your neighbors if they’re from the opposite Democratic Party. I’m an American with a dual citizenship (UK), and my family has decided to leave the US next year for good. As a mother, I don’t feel comfortable having my family in the US and we aren’t a rare situation. In the past three years, more Americans have moved out of the US for a better life. Yes, a better life. More Americans are also renouncing their citizenship that it’s becoming harder to do so. Homeland security isn’t letting Americans walk away as easy as before. They’ll deny you countless times and all you can do is try again. Some extremist have stated that they will not accept any leader they didn’t vote for regardless if that leader won fairly. That simply means they don’t want a democracy, they want an ultra conservative, modern day Puritans country. I think the US is simply too big of a country. We have way too many people and too many opinions of what the US is supposed to be. I don’t believe many Americans got over the civil war and still looking for a southern style America. My family lived in the UK far too long to be attracted to the American culture we see today. So, I will miss the Santa Monica, Ca I grew up in, but on to a better life.
