My wife and I are young Trump voters in the Silicon Valley (San Francisco Bay Area). I'm from the East Coast and my wife is from Mexico (immigrated and subsequently became a citizen). We married after completing post-grad (for educational demographics). We greatly appreciated your coverage. It was fun, objective and fair. I also like that it was less narrative-pushing and more pragmatically analytical. 2:52:00 - I appreciated the contrast between different kinds of "lies." The media often calls out Trump for "lies" that are obvious examples of hyperbole or the use of superlatives. Democrats, however, now lie to their constituents about what their goals would encompass. They seem to prefer avoiding specifics and focusing on demographic divides (e.g., race, ethnicity, gender, religion, etc.) with a particular focus on perceiving individuals as "victims" of what America essentially represents. The idea of making America "great again" is foreign to them because the narrative is that America is morally grey -- neither good nor bad inherently but with quite a bit more bad than good. So, as John Podesta's leaked emails reveal, they prefer supporters that are "unaware and compliant." The Democratic Party politicians say that they will not raise YOUR taxes but they WILL raise taxes so that everyone will pay their "fair share" (with the "your" and "fair share" being undefined). They support "free speech" but only when the message is approved (which, of course, is not really "free" speech). They support "free" press -- as long as the press carries the DNC message. They support "free" (online) assembly -- but not for individuals with opinions that they dislike. I appreciated The Free Press coverage because it felt sincere. Thank you!

Your analysis is very insightful. I've been saying all along that Trump does not speak like a politician or a billionaire. He speaks more like an average American. He is unashamedly and unabashedly an alpha male. After all these years, we have gotten to know him and understand what he's trying to say. The msm still pretends not to and prefers to interpret his words in the worst possible light.

What a great comment!! So much like me in 1980 after the inflation and world disorder caused by the absolutely weak presidency of Carter!! I as a 71 year old man are so happy for you and your wife!! The American people, like you, have "saved" our country! Your future is now bright and the leftist nightmare is coming to a close! God bless you!!!

FWIW - America was "great" during the postwar period, up until about the 1980's. That was when the USA was the manufacturing powerhouse of the world, with a large prosperous middle class. That began to deteriorate in the 1990's and the trend accelerated in the 2000's.

Why was Abortion even discussed as a Federal issue? Both MSM AND Independent media did a horrible job of explaining the reality of this issue! It’s at the State level, & any measure short of an Amendment to the Constitution would get rightfully kicked by SCOTUS as unconstitutional, that’s the reality, so why were the Democrats even allowed to talk about abortion as an issue that anyone could make any change to at a Federal level? Besides it being the only issue that allows rich white women to feel oppressed.
@teddyjackson190223 күн бұрын
The truth is Roe was bad law and abortion is exactly where it should be and states are acting accordingly. The U.S. is a massive country with various cultural regions and values. It should never have been a federal issue.

If you see these people who are really scared, shaving their hair and having mental breakdowns it’s really sad. There are people that really believe they will be put in camps. The media really needs to be more responsible, compassionate and maybe accountable for what they say.

I think Bari sometimes mistakes actual nationalism with ‘blood and soul’ nationalism. I understand the aversion to extreme forms of nationalism but I think Bari draws the line too closely and I disagree that Trump, Vance, or Carlson for that matter represent something dangerous and antithetical to America. I actually think Bari should sit down with all three and try to get each of the three to articulate their worldview and their philosophy (and limits of it). I think she should also do hour-long interviews with Tulsi, Vivek, RFK, etc. I think she may still disagree (which is fine!) but I think she’d be less likely to draw a circle around them and say ‘DANGEROUS!’ I am a big Free Press and Bari Weiss fan but I think there is more sky than she would assume between Nick Fuentes/Ye and the Carlson/Trump/Vance worldviews.
@DeniseWilcox-kp1dl21 күн бұрын

I’m also very interested to find out with the way the media reacted and treated Mark Robinson in North Carolina to find out if what happened was really true or not because he has come out to sue them and hasn’t stopped his prosecution so I find it very suspicious that he would have made any of those comments and it only came out now when he runs for governor but not when he ran and won Lt Governor. Plus if it isn’t true and they lied about him and made up all those comments, a black republican no less I truly hope this is the mail in the coffin for the MSM and democrats. That it opens the eyes to the black community of what they are willing to do to gain political power. Also the younger men have grown up with Trump, they watched everything that was said and done to him but then they also watched the me too movement and how that changed their lives, how the MSM & democrats all but destroyed innocent men and rewrote the protection laws on colleges to make it so that men have no due process and women can all but destroy a man just because a women rejects her decision to sleep with someone or had a bad date leaving the man with no ability to defend themselves so if they had this happen to them they know that they are doing the same if not more to Trump. They literally claimed he was a rapist for claiming his innocence of rape because he said he didnt rape that women and found him guilty for saying so but used that to say he is a rapist and think men are stupid and don’t understand that the democrats and the MSM hate men. Also their complaints that Trump is suing for the interview that was edited to benefit Kamala in order to interfere in an election should happen because the American people are sick and tired of the fact that the MSM are allowed to put out government propaganda for their preferred political party without even having to tell the public, be opinion based propaganda yet claim to be journalists while not being able to face any consequences for the outright lies that they have been telling the American people for at least a decade. They still tell the Russia, Russia conspiracy, good people on both sides hoax, claimed that he wanted to see Liz Cheney face a shooting squad when he didn’t, called for a bloodbath, etc. they are able to take his words out of context and outright put their own opinions into what they believe or want them to mean to spread their own narrative in order to push their own agenda to try and influence the outcome of the election and after the election to interfere with the Trump administration to control who is in his administration what he is able to achieve & accomplish for the American people in fear that if he is successful it will then effect how long the Democratic Party will be out of power…they should either have to face consequences for their outright lies or have to tell the public that they are outright MSM for the democrats. Everyone knows that Fox News is right wing but establishment right wing, only a few contributors are pro trump while the rest are establishment media. This year the public woke up to the fact the the rest of the media with some exceptions are nothing but propaganda for the democratic establishment which is why they have lost their viewers and are continuing to loose their viewership. Their needs to be actual legislation to address this and make it so that the media will have to face the consequences for the lies that they tell because right now they can tell lies as long as the person is a public figure unless they can prove damages and that needs to be changed which will also be helpful for celebrities and I can’t see why they wouldn’t like that because we will see an end to the tabloid media that won’t be able to get away with their fake stories without facing lawsuits.
