Coming from Australia, the future, and from having just watched Lovetts 200th episode and just don't know where we would all be without these guys. Truly thank god they were ready to meet this crisis. I know now just how much Australia is lacking in the quality and accessibility of analysis of politics considering what s possible and I'm grateful to Crooked that I could properly disabuse some people of the erroneous takes they were coming to so i wasn't completely suffocated by my own frustration. Look, I'm not a political genius, not even close but you guys are being way to hard on yourselves. I get it, you guys are talking more due to the disappointment and being "hoodwinked" by the information. But remember this, imagine those people that have much more to lose and had a much bigger stake than you three and me had in this. Review and figure out and make changes and it's parts of life lesson. I found you guys late in this election cycle and became a devoted fan, but I certainly don't blame you for me believing in your analysis. In the end, we are responsible for our own actions. BTW, I'm a former staffer with OMB and CEA back in the late 70's for about 12 years (GS) and have fond memories of the OEOB and all the energy every single day. Linguists divide the users of the word fuck into two groups: people who giggle or rage about a sexual meaning and people who use fuck in a metaphorical way so the word doesn't equal sexual intercourse any more than a child's, 'My mom'll kill me if she finds out' equals murder. The former group consists of children and prudes; the latter are adults who are linguistically adept and enjoy the health benefits of swearing (stress reduction, increased pain tolerance, etc). You should read the studies about the benefits of swearing. They make a fascinating connection between language and its effect on the brain.
