The fact that the Dems did not punish a single one of the Jan 6 coup ringleaders is insane. Even D e J o y is still in office, which is Biden's fault _alone._ This sends the message the insurrectionists did nothing wrong, that you can coup with impunity and that the Dems are scared because _they_ are in fact the wrongdoers. All of this is completely obvious. The Dems avoided punishing the ringleaders because they thought it would help them make political hay for the midterms. They even _funded_ some of the biggest HOP whackos on ballots up and down the country, obviously thinking they would be easy to defeat by the bland centrist candidates they prefer to run against them. That is the opposite of putting up a fight for democracy.

It's a fantastic way to vote- I can take my time, think things over, research issues I see on the ballot, and trust I'll have to time to do it even if I'm busy or not feeling well. The sudden 'distrust' being turned towards mail ballot drop-off is alarming. Also- there is literally a section at the top of each envelope for if someone is dropping off the Ballots on someone else's behalf- it's almost like it's an entirely normal thing for someone to do.

They always act paranoid about 'voter fraud' even though it would be incredibly difficult to cast fraudulent votes by mail since there are multiple ways they verify the vote. (For example, the ballot number is keyed to a specific voter, and you need to give multiple forms of identification with your mail in ballot. It would also be instantly flagged if one person voted more than once, so any voter fraud would be uncovered if the real person also attempted to vote.)

The fact that you saw a conspiracy against the right in all this rhymes with the vague sense of corruption that's led to the problems described in the video. That's pretty funny, isn't it?
@paulshallbetter10802 жыл бұрын
@@adambuchbinder2791 I don't see a "conspiracy" here, except that YT and other media companies have demonstrated bias against the Right; they admit it, so there's really no argument. BTW, my channel is monetized, but I receive no income from it, as YT is doing something to "compensate" a record company for using a classical piece of music... Monetization is often more complicated than one might think. And again I say that it is not unpatriotic to question election results. Maintaining a free and honest election process is a responsibility of every voting citizen. I am not an "election denier," but I think looking at the process is valid. In fact, I believe it to be patriotic in the truest sense of the word.
@adambuchbinder27912 жыл бұрын
@@paulshallbetter1080 Okay, but you do see how the difference in "treatment" of Last Week Tonight and Fox News that you described doesn't actually exist, and then you smoothly moved on to another, entirely different claim? Is it because it's not really about monetization, it's about a vibe you have that conservatism is being suppressed by Big Tech? Nobody here, or in the show, is saying that it's unpatriotic to question election results. But when you spend a great deal of time looking for malfeasance, completely fail to find it, and then keep pushing a narrative that the entire election was somehow undetectably stolen, that's something else entirely.

In my country elections are from the early morning and through the very late evening, so bussy people could find a time to drop a ballot. And its always on saturday when most people are not in work. And people can vote outside their hometown. In some close countries voting is happening through 2 days. Also ill or disabled people can ask for mobile ballot team to collect their ballot. It is not allowed voting substitution by other people. Why not offer to do the same for my dad who can't drive anymore, or my brother who is busy with school? Helping other people exercise their right to vote is the most democratic thing you can do.
