Electoral Bonds were introduced to prevent Political parties from taking donations of black money, but they had some loopholes which could be used for Money Laundering. The parties would probably avoid Electoral Bonds if they had a tax on them, after all parties won't like paying taxes on donations And you guys criticize GST, but do you know that only 2.2% of India's voting population pays income tax? GST was introduced to collect taxws more evenly, it had some problems at beginning but can be improved
