Recently, Delhi's CM Mr. Arvind Kejriwal was arrested on charges of corruption and money laundering in connection with the Delhi Excise Liquor probe. Along with him many influential politicians and businessmen were either arrested or investigated due to their connection with this Liquor case. That’s a nice overview of the case, but still too many unanswered questions. VWhat was the net earning of Delhi govt under new and old policies? How much of licensing fee was refunded after scrapping the policy? Was increased drunkenness a cause for concern with the new policy? Again if a company was paying 12% to Govt and 6% to AAP that’s a total of 18%. How could companies gain from that?
