Great review Rob thank you! Im thinking of getting one of these to be honest... I have 4 acres here with trees, shrubs and hedgerows galore to lop, top & chop! Tree surgeons down here in Cornwall charge over £360 per day, so looking for something "man enough" to tackle the projects myself and get something "substantial" for what I want and need it for! Does this unit take higher capacity batteries like Dewalt? If I wanted to purchase two extra batteries, do you know what ones I would need to get? I have purchased three other different makes of these saws now and they are all crap, none of them do what they were designed for at all .. so Im a little discouraged with mini chainsaws at the moment, but this one looks "capable" of tackling tough jobs? Amazon are selling this for £69.00 at the moment, so may get this tomorrow 😀

well mine has lasted well and battery life not bad for the price, I am sure the more expensive brands may last a lot longer for more industrial use, but for me and the odd chopping sessions it's been very capable, not sure on the replacement batterys, i would think they are available from the company. cheers ROB

Ciao mi è arrivata questa motosega. Per provarla senza tagliare solo per farla girare c'è bisogno di lubrificarla cmq ? Mi dici anche come e consigliabile fare la lubrificazione durante l'utilizzo per non fare danni... Sul libretto dice solo 2/3 pompate prima di utilizzarla da spenta. E mi dici anche che olio specifico devo acquistare. PS;la catena e uscita già montata un po' larga devo solo stringerla o conviene smontarla prima per vedere se montata bene ? Grazie.

Just got one of these from Amazon. Good review fella. Sent another brand back the following day after I bought it as the batteries only lasted between 10 and 15 minutes. So I'm going to give this a try now.

Nice bit if kit,gonna get one as this year due to budget cuts the carnival is cancelled and replaced with a purge night....looks to be man enough

Does oil automatically lubricate the chain or must you squeeze it every time?

I would spend more and get a Worx , Stihl or Makita - recognised brands with spares back up and real warranty - as my wife says ‘we are not rich enough to buy cheap sh1t” these Amazon cheapies are tempting but fragile with none having any decent back up

Yep, chopped down another tree since and have to top two more soon,, may have to sharpen the chain or swop too the spare one soon, but no problems so far :)

The oil should lubricate the chain groove through a hole in the bar.
