That's pretty cool I never seen one on the snow without the skis on the front

This looks brilliantly simple. It would be great if you could share a bit more about which recumbent you attached it to, what you used in your build, and how you made attachments to the cargo hauler.

I custom built the frame inside the body, m intentions were to make it amphibious also so i could attach torpedo style electric trolling motors to the left and right side that are also boyant to act as outriggers to stabilze it further in the water. It is basically water-proof.

Did you build it or what? I have never seen one like it... I like the design ... though not the most aerodynamic it's better than a regular recumbent

it was made from a Yakima Skybox 12. The reason it looks tall is i built a 7" extension between the top and bottom because i was going to put pedals in it. Never got around to putting them in is would not have needed to make it so tall. The body is dimpled like a golf ball which actually is supposed to be aerodynamic. Very light though and cheap for a body build. It costed $500 brand new because you need to buy all the hardware which i removed and threw away

I still need to build the canopy for it so it will look much better just looking for the perfect windsheild first. i do not want to have a custom one made every time the windshield gets scratched.

I guess I just wanna know everything I could learn... I ride a regular recumbent trike and I love velomobiles and yours piqued my interest

I made it from a car top cargo. I designed the trike frame to accommodate the body. I built an bottom outside frame and an inside frame pieces then i bolted the two together so it sandwiched the frame. This makes it water proof so i can also attach some outriggers with electric trolling motors in them so it will float and i can take it in the water fishing. I built a shroud around the back wheel to keep the water and debris from getting into the cockpit area. I put alot of thought into it before i even began to make because i did not want to cut up the bottom portion for the body .
