How much run time/distance on the 2 12v batteries wired up as 24v? I am building a utility cart and using 2 12v batteries wired up to 24v. I am using 2 12v 35ah batteries. I am using a 24v 1/2 hp motor and a worm driven gearbox. What speed controller did you use? I see you are using a thumb throttle. I plan on using a twist throttle. What gauge wire did you use for the 24v system?

Would you build another, just electric, not all the rest, for a price?

you should post a video of it moving. How do you control the electric motor?

I actually did make a video but I haven't had time to upload it. I can shorten up the results in this comment though lol. So it most definitely helped 100 percent on the sand, BUT it's still a but of a fight with the tires that's on it. Nothing like of there wasn't a motor at all though. I also kept having an issue where the chain would come off when it struggled so much. I actually have since bought 4 of the large gray balloon vevor tires that I am going to install, but it am going to have to extend the exles out so I haven't had time to install them. After I do that, I am going to probably slot the motor mount so I can adjust it for the chain tightness as well as the straightness of the motor to the chain.

No doubt after I do that, it's going to be an absolute beast at the beach and over every other terrain as well. The motor speed is controlled by a thumb throttle I mounted byw

This is incredible! Where can I purchase this?! This would make fishing the bridges down in the keys much easier!

Lol.. well thank you! You would have to build it yourself unfortunately, but the good news is the cart is literally a hundred dollars off right now for Amazon prime days. The electric motor and the axle kit come from eBay. The rest of the stuff is just fun gadgets lol. If I was retired I might consider making them but working full time, I would never have the time to make them for others unfortunately… I’m stoked you like the build though!

@@758Redwhulf sir, you are a genius! If you ever considered to take the time and manufacture this for the public, to purchase, I will gladly be a customer. I definitely am not mechanically inclined enough to build this for myself. I am absolutely stoked I came across your video and this incredible idea. As an avid fisherman down here in South Florida, this would be superb for me to utilize on my fishing ventures. If you ever reconsider, please let me know, as I would purchase this beach cart in a heartbeat. Thank you sir.

@@miamigladiator9545 well thank u very much. I will for sure keep you in mind. I might consider it one day in the near future, but I probably wouldn’t wanna take the time to put the radio and all that fancy stuff on it. Is it just the electric part that intrigues u, or all the other stuff?

Lol. I can probably get u the list of parts, but as far as the build goes..ehhhh.... I kinda winged it and forgot to record it. It was actually a lot of here and grinding it off because it didn't fit with this part or that part and then re welding again, etc.... wasn't really an easy way to explain it. As far as the electronics and all, that's pretty straight forward. I'm actually gonna build a lithium pack for it this year to make it lighter, and gotta build some adapters to use the gray balloon tires I bought to exchange the black ones with. The wife is already on my case about it so it won't be long
