My bike just arrived today. It is a model J. I have the antitheft. The fob is not working at all. It lights up but no sound is made. The only time I get a sound notification is when I flip the switch on the battery.

I just received my bike, it's beautiful! Does the battery have to be on in order for the anti theft alarm to work?

Just got hours today I think as long as the batteries in the bike you can turn it off and then long as the battery has charged it will work

Any time I turn the battery on it makes the alarm chirp, even when unlocked. Is there a way to avoid this?

That sound is the notice that the alarm is being turned on as alarm is connected directly to the battery

Hi yes, just make sure the battery is on for the alarm to work.
