Electric Bike? WHY?

Don't be afraid of electric bikes, or jealous. An electric bike is a great way of getting outdoors and how much exercise is completely up to you.

Excellent points. Here in the PNW we also have some hills and non-e cycling really takes the energy out of you, whereas electric bikes are true car replacements (for us). I've always found it interesting how much people hate e-bikes, though I've never heard a single reasonable argument!

Yes, a machine that you need to be intimately aligned with. It works harder than a bicycle but not as hard as a motorcycle. Everyone has to find their own sweet spot for both control and enjoyment!

I've had my WIRED FREEDOM EBIKE since May of 2023 now 2800 miles later I STILL LOVE IT! it's easy to forget I'm 63 years old when I'm out riding.

Nice video! I just bought my first ebike a Freesky Swift horse 1000watts 25ah battery and couldn’t be happier climbs the steepest hills no problem. Enjoy your new ride

I also have a '24 Wired Freedom. Great bike! You can't beat the price for a 60 volt 20aH battery, 1500 watt motor with 2400 watt peak!! It's crazy fast but more importantly, with my bad knees it'll take me up ANY hill! Enjoy your new bike! Liked and subscribed👍

As a 74 year young person I got my ebike because the joy of riding uphill had gone and cycling was becoming hard work. My bike gets up to 20 mph and that is plenty to enjoy the countryside and kid yourself that you are still young. Its not a top class expensive bike but it does the job.

I've got a 500w e-bike and it helps tremendously when going up pretty steep hills, the throttle works fine as well. I'd totally miss the throttle if it was gone. As your say, the throttle really helps for getting through intersections quicker and safer. I also have a 750w mid drive MTB.

For me speed is great when on a road to stay away from traffic, but on a trail 18 mph is my sweet spot.
