Great review TFG. I have two Electric Blue A area and you are spot on about these fish being well mannered and hardy. I bought my fish when they were about an inch and in six months they grew to about an inch and a half. My fish reside in a 300 gallon with drift wood, lace rock, and a gravel sand mix. I don’t have any plants at the moment but will eventually put some in later. Keep up the great videos, always looking forward to watching and learning. Cheers!

I just got my first EBA, love him! Every other source says they can live up to 10 years. 20? Really?

I've seen these but always in cichlid community tanks, so I guess the store has been keeping them incorrectly. It would be amazing for my tank, thanks for the video 😁

Great fish have one as well. Coloring always reminds me of Jack Dempsey, but this guy can get along with every fish unlike Jack. And at the the end of the day, his colors are better! Thanks for the post, nice content..

One of the barbs has been gulping air with food and has swimbladder issues 3minutes 5 secs is a good shot of her having issues. I'm only mentioning it as she will get picked on. is she going for the floating pellets, I feed all my barbs under the water line for that reason. lovely group of fish you have great colours

Everybody said these are gentle so I got 4 for my Discus tank. They were going for the Discus fins and eyes. Put them with my big leapord gourami but no luck. Eye attack again.So out they went to their own tank. Peaceful ? Not really.

Accra looks like it’s been fin nipped, Tiger barbs may be bullying. I’ve got 2 EBA and they’re very peaceful mine are 1 1/2 years old. Got them @ about an inch

Great content! Can i please get your opinion on my 55g setup. Currently I have a full grown colony of 12 albino corydoras, 1 adult red eye tetra, and 1 recently purchased EBA. in a planted tank. Right now everyone gets along great. My question is would a breeding pair be ok in a 55 with all those corydoras? I was contemplating buying more EBA's from tbe same shop/ same size in hopes 2 will pair off, and rehome the other EBA's. Thank you in advance!!! Subbed for future content!!😎
