5:15 Kevins role in the band was also uplifted after Sushi left. Sushi was main vocalist and main shouter at the same time for Eskimo Callboy. Kevin was "only" their support shouter (and keyboard artist). With Nico joining, the jobs were re-distributed within Electric Callboy again. Now Nico is main vocalist for clean vocals (while also doing some shouting in support) and Kevin is main vocalist for shouting (while also doing some clean vocals in support). So it's also a much better balance between the two of them now. You can see it pretty well when they performed a bunch of older songs (e.g. on their Hypa Hypa Tour 2022) with their new constellation. Who is doing which vocals was shifted a lot and Kevin had to do much more to support Nico with these older songs.

1:53 Well, to add to your list of things regarding Nico as their new vocalist: Nico also toured with his band To the Rats and Wolfes together with Eskimo Callboy (multiple tours actually). So they knew each other quite well. Furthermore, he also was their backup vocalist for an EC tour in Russia. So he was considered as an alternative to Sebastian before. What held them back was, that they didn't knew about Nicos future plans and his ambitions - he never said anything before.

Sebastian had his limitations and he was not open for everything. He was also already disappointed of the two last album released with him. The departure of him was unavoidable at some point. The whole creative process came to an hold. Nico joining the band was the best what ever could happen to this band. That doesn't mean the songs with Sushi were all inferior, although there are some songs which are kind of mid. The biggest problem was they still did not found their own style. They made music which made everyone in the emo core or metal core scene. With Nico finally was a shift possible.

And Sushi went on to create his own musical project - Ghostkid. It's definitely not as fun as EC but it's really good for what it is.
