Granted this video is older, but I have this kit and was about to buy a drum Amp, but after watching this video, I went with the same powered speaker you have, saved some money and can use it for other things, thanks a lot for this video!!!

Thanks, I just purchased the nitro mesh. Manual says you use TRS on L and R out but what you used is TS (guitar connector). Thanks!

Thanks, man! I learned a lot. I just bought an Alesis Forge kit and I am about to buy an amp. Is that the Peavey KB1? Sounds sweet but did you record that through a PC or you just used a mic and pointed it at the amplifier?

I am using a mono connection to my PA which has a 1/4 jack (so i have a 1/4 to 1/4 cable) but the sound i am getting is rubbish. Its a Roland TD-4KP and PA is Behringer B212D. If I buy my self a sterio cable and a sterio to 1/4 adaptor and connect it to my PA will it make any difference?

Is it possible to connect a headphone amplifier to an electric drumkit ?, So I can play with my dt880 600ohms. Maybe you can connect an amp like you do and plug them into that? I have 1 preamp/dac and the poweramp. I don't have drums but planning on buying if I can use my headphones. (For the best sound quality.)

I would get in touch with alesis or what ever the name of you drums is... And ask them or check with the store you got them ... you may have a bad part on your drums

More reverb might work... When i had my alesis nitro kit... i used a mixer also. used ez drummer software as well

Guitar amp sucks cause you get to Many effects people so stick with a simple drum amp to get a clean sound and less noise
