I was going to try to fix my dryer which is taking a bit longer to dry. However, after watching your video I realize I don't know what the hell I'm doing and I should hire an expert. Great video.

Hi, I have LG dryer. I replaced the main control board because taking too long to dry. But still have the same issue. What do you suggest any other parts to check? Thank you.

What is the model number of your dryer? How often do you clean the lint catcher and the duct work? Have you checked your thermostats to see if they have continuity coming to them? If your dryer has moisture sensor bars check them to see if they may have lint built up on them.

I tried to buy parts for my washer/ dryer on your website but they are overpriced. High way robbery. Thanks for the video and info i subscribed, hoping that would at least help your channel but i won't buy from your website. sorry!

Their prices are high, but it's cheap compared to a visit from a repair man/woman, and they sell higher quality OEM parts. And their videos are awesome!

I just grabbed the rear felt seal for my Whirlpool dryer. There's a front seal and a door seal that I might have to just jimmy something to work until a new seal can come in. It's a race against the clock because I have a new dryer on the way and if I can fix it before the new dryer comes in I'll get my money back and cancel the new dryer.

Mine was just pushed to close to the wall and the hose was scrunched up. I pulled the dryer out from the wall and turned it on and it immediately got hot again. YEAH.

I changed the thermal fuse it still takes a while to dry? What do you suggest?
@appliancepartspros9 ай бұрын
How often do you check the lint filter? How often to do you clean the duct work that leads to the outside? Do you happen to have a multimeter? If all that is good you may have an issue with a thermostat and you would have to test them to see which one of them could have failed.

Thanks for this. Question - at the 1:47 mark when you mention this is a single coil element, mine looks exactly like yours, except i don't have the white wire at the bottom. i don't see one to connect. i guess it's jus that way on some?

Can the timer switch be the problem of taking too long to heat. I checked and everything else beeps on my meter. On certain parts of the switch there is no beep or any reading.

For the Thermistor, make sure the sensor is clear of lint inside the pipe. I found mine covered with lint on the inside of the dryer. I believe this was insulating it to changes in temperature. With a good wad of lint, acting as insulation blanket, it would slow up the cycling of the dryer, take longer to turn on the heat, then longer to cool down, then longer to heat up. Just check it, stick your hand up the pipe and see that it is clear of lint.
@appliancepartspros Жыл бұрын
If there is a lot of lint build up in your dryer that can cause the thermistor to not work correctly. We do recommend cleaning the dryer ever so often to prevent lint build up.
