In the past 40 years, Bullshark are rumored to be living by the Festus Power Plant off the middle Mississippi. There are plenty of stories (especially among carp fishermen) of a fish on their line and then something far bigger and stronger attacking their catch and snapping their lines. No reports of attacks on humans or anything, just very very odd circumstances. Jeremy is the only man on Earth that can find them!

Someone got a bullshark in Illinois before. Have no doubt they are around in larger bodies of fresh water, especially large rivers.

I remember one of the coolest moments in television history was when he was pulling up that MASSIVE ray and just before it broke the surface the line snapped and you just see the huge shadow sink back down.

I know it’s their livelihood and that space isn’t unlimited for them, but I do feel bad for those fish having to be confined to that small area the locals keep them in. Perhaps there isn’t that much stress on the fish. Just seems small.
@sunkissedcreators6 күн бұрын
the amount of space a fish has to live in is usually a major component of the quality (if they’re being bred and sold for eating). the U.S. (where i’m from) does not have organic standards for seafood but there are EU standards and the amount of space the fish have is 1 major difference between organic and nonorganic fish. edit: also with how large and active these fish are there’s no way this is enough space for them, but as you said locals gotta find a way to live!

Freshwater and salt water have different issues when it comes to water quality.
@mikewhitman7453 күн бұрын
@sunkissedcreators how does volume of water per fish affect if it's organic? There isn't an ethical or non ethical rating? That would make more sense than saying something raised in a natural water body isn't organic because it's cage is too small. Not attacking you but you seem to know more about eu standards than I do and I don't feel like looking it up right now.

Not to mention they can’t understand rules which would prevent yet another extinction of the thousands that humans already made extinct.

What about fish in aquariums? They just sit there until they die of old age. At least these are being used as God intended. I bet they use the whole fish too, not any waste.
