Always check an electric fence with the back of your hand. Do not grab it as is demonstrated in this video. This is because grabbing the fence while its electrified might make your hand spasm and not let go once it finally shocks you. At least that's what my Dad always told me. haha

You supposed to take a long piece of grass and slowly slide it onto the fence till it tingles to test it. 😆

These fence chargers are junk! The batteries don't last and are expensive to replace. The body of the charger is not waterproof. Internals rust and unit quits working. Would never buy one again! I have a plug in unit now and will never use solar!
